And Cole and Laila are just adorable and you can definitely see that they are the best of friends. The perfect start to any relationship! I loved how they knew each other so well that they could anticipate what the other was thinking or feeling. That's a gift to have in any relationship. But I will say that I had to suspense reality and my disbelief that these two have known each other their whole lives and are 40ish years old and this is the first time that they are realizing there is more to their feelings than just a platonic friendship. Yes, the author does put some thoughts in both characters' POVs about them brushing off those feelings and just staying friends but now with Cole getting ready to leave their small town, those feelings come rushing to the surface. So if you can suspend reality and your disbelief on those and go with the story, it is really cute and full of humor and great references that older adults will love! Gilmore Girls and many other tv show/movie references, and lots of celebrity references that those in their 40s+ will understand and giggle over. And hey, hopefully others who are younger will catch the references and will enjoy them as well!
The book opens with some sad news that builds up for Cole thinking about moving to NYC where his and Laila's best friends live. We get to go on an adventure in the Big Apple with these two and I loved that!
I listened to the audiobook and loved that there were two narrators, one male and one female to capture the personalities of these two characters! Well done. I really enjoyed it a lot!
Content: There is a one bed trope moment that the main characters share a bed. Nothing happens but some looks and thoughts but the thoughts didn't get graphic. Some kisses but nothing further. Clean language.
I received a copy of the audiobook from the publisher, Harper Collins Christian Publishing, via NetGalley. And a copy of the ebook from the publisher, Thomas Nelson-Fiction, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

I adored both of the main characters in this story and loved coming to know more about them as their story unfolded. Prince Lucien and Princess Lisette are perfect for each other. Although their initial meetings (prior to this story but everything is explained throughout the book) weren't what you'd call a meet cute, their goodness and desires for friendship and love help them create a beautiful and lasting relationship. Even with some rock starts. You can read this book as a standalone but I love all of these stories that I recommend you read them in order.
There's been a curse spreading across the land and I was so excited to see the characters figure it out in this book and discovering what the key to unlocking it was. Ohhhhh it's so good!!!
Lucien is just so wonderful. Yes, he has flaws and makes mistakes but I loved how good he is to Lisette and his care and love for her. *Happy Sigh* They have to figure out what has caused her to vanish before it's too late. And I just can't say it enough of how much I just adored them together. The chemistry and spark between them was so sweetly written. You'll be hooked and not want the story to end. I read it in one sitting because I didn't want to set it down and not know what was going to happen for these two.
Very clever plot and how the characters unravel the clues and the reason behind the curse. Loved it A LOT!!!
Content: Clean. Some talk of neglect. Some talk of a mistress (not by one of the main characters). No language and nothing more than sweet kisses.

This newest collection from Timeless Romance is a definite winner!!! Three of my favorite authors each wrote a novella and let me tell you that I adorThis newest collection from Timeless Romance is a definite winner!!! Three of my favorite authors each wrote a novella and let me tell you that I adored each one of them!!! Three Victorian Romance novellas that are full of sweet and swoony romance that you won't want to stop with just one novella. You'll want to enjoy all three at once. I was definitely pulled into the stories and was cheering on these characters to get their happy ever after! And bonus...they're all set in the Scottish Highlands (Woot Woot)!!!
~Remnants of Love by Nichole Van~ 5* ~ Oh my heavens!!! If you love a good second chance story with a bit of enemies to lovers vibe going on, you are going to swoon over this one! My heart ached for Chrissi and for Alistair but I loved how it all was righted in the end. Seriously, I was swooning! I wanted to go back and reread it as soon as I had finished it!
~Of Kilts and Courtship by Heidi Kimball~ 5* ~ Oh Miss Arabella Hughes, you are in for the summer of your life. The meet cute in this is hysterical. And the grandmother and Gavin McKenzie will have you giggling over their initial antics. Misperceptions and preconceived notions can get a person in trouble, especially if that person is Arabella. But don't you worry, she doesn't let that stand in her way. And neither does Gavin. *Happy Sigh* These two were absolutely adorable together. Love, Love, Loved it!!!
~Into the Light by Michele Paige Holmes~ 5* ~ Beatrice and Theodore are the sweetest couple! I loved how their story evolved and how they came to find each other. Even if there were some hardships that occurred to get them to where they are at now. Beatrice's backstory almost had me in tears. That poor girl! But I loved her sweet, tender and gentle manner. I love how they are able to overcome and see around the obstacles that they face. And how Theodore knows Beatrice's heart through the goodness of who she is. This story left my heart so very happy and put a big grin on my face!!!
All three of these novellas are definite rereads for me and a collection that I highly recommend! Especially if you're a fan of Scottish stories!
Content for all three: Clean. I love these anthologies because I always know that I don't have to worry about content and that I can happily recommend them to my teenagers and anyone else! There are some elements of familial struggles and neglect but it is not the focus of the story, just a background story element. There is talk about a miscarriage for a child conceived out of wedlock but there's no details, just explaining about it later on in the story. Some kisses but nothing further. No language.

Especially at the beginning of this one. I sure wouldn't want to have to go through what happened to her at the airport. But it sure made for a fun opening of the book and setting up for the humor and sweet love story that followed! I honestly giggled so much over Hope's antics. Hahahaha!
And then I loved the fun surprise that she got when her best friend Amelia ends up sick and sends her brother Shane to pick her up from the airport and go on their trip for the first couple of days. Hope's reaction was great! She was just a bit smitten! *smirks* And I'll admit that I would have been as well. *shrugs*
I loved this sweet rom-com! I didn't want it to end. I was very satisfied with the whole story, the friendships, the wit and humor that had me giggling and most definitely the sweet romance! *Swoooooon!!!!*

I need more and pronto!!! Ok, I'll be patient but honestly, I'm really excited for the next book and to see which member of this friend group will be featured. Second thing, you have to read them in order. Even though each book features a different friend and is mainly from their POV (point of view), we get to read from the POV of each main character. I love it. If that sounds like it might be a little overwhelming because there are 6 friends, I promise it works and flows smoothly. The author did a fantastic job making it a smooth transition and keeping the story flowing.
The first book does a great job giving a good foundation for the characters and letting us get to know them but I loved how this book goes even deeper and continues to develop their backstories, especially Xander since he's the main focus for this book. These 6 magical misfit friends are so fun. I love their friendships and the strength they gain from each other. Their loyalty and true care and concern for each other. They each have some struggles and hard coming at them but I love watching them work together to figure it out!
Seriously such a delightful read! I laughed out loud many times at the wit and banter. And I loved the more serious moments as well. These are great well rounded characters that I can't help but cheer for and want to know more about. And get ready for some really great plot twists! Holy Cow Batman!!! Soooo good!!!
I loved the first book but I really love this one. Not that they are any better than the other but for the fact that we continue to see these characters grow and develop and we continue to learn more about them. My favorite thing about series is that we come to love characters from one book and then we get to continue seeing them in the next and this book/series is perfection for that reason I love series. I'm so happy that I don't have to wait for one book to the next to know what is happening to certain characters. I get to see them all in this book!
Content: This is a fantasy story with magic and magical creatures. There's no language. Some mild moments of peril. And no adult content. Just a fun and delightful story. I would happily let my teenagers read this book and series.

Woohoo!!! I am loving this series sooo much!!! And I can't tell you how excited I was when I found out that this 4th book was going to be Kai and MilaWoohoo!!! I am loving this series sooo much!!! And I can't tell you how excited I was when I found out that this 4th book was going to be Kai and Mila's story! Like happy dancing and squealing excited! Ok, I probably didn't do a happy dance for real but inside I was! Haha! I loved the little teasers we'd get about these two in the previous books and let me tell you, this story melted my heart so much. Like puddle of melted happiness!!! Kai and Mila are the most adorable couple! Add in Noah and his interactions with Kai and it's more than just cuteness overload! It's Sweet Romance story overload! All in a good way of course!!!
I've loved all of the books in this series so far (Ok, I haven't read the first book yet but I need to do so really soon!) but this one seriously takes the cake! I honestly couldn't read it fast enough! I read a few pages of it last night but was so tired that I fell asleep. But as soon as I woke up, I got ready and knew I was going to have a great morning enjoying this beauty! Today was my one morning in forever that I had some down time and oh boy did I use it wisely! I grabbed my Dr. Pepper Zero with Coconut Cream, put on my bathing suit and went outside and enjoyed a beautiful morning soaking up the rays with the Romance! Seriously best way to enjoy this book because trust me when I tell you that while you are reading it, you're going to be dreaming of warm weather and lots of sunshine!
I can't get over how adorable these two are! And they say they're just "friends!" Ha! I don't buy it one moment Kai and Mila! You two just need to see past all of your reservations and be honest with yourselves and with each other. And fake dating! Oh heavens! Just call it what it is...you're really dating and love each other!
Seriously go read this one as soon as you can and just bask in the cuteness and perfection of it all!!!
Content: Clean. The author gives a trigger warning at the beginning of the book letting readers know that this book deals with a single parent/mom raising a son but her ex wants to come back into the picture and be in the son's life. I thought that it was written very well and was very sensitive and thoughtful for readers who might have or might be experiencing that in their lives. There is no language. There are several kisses that are fantastic but not pushing any boundaries for keeping this book clean. I love that I know I can always count on this author to deliver clean and wholesome romance for me to enjoy and that I can share with my teenagers or others without worrying about content! Thank you a million times Savannah Scott!!!

She is just full of energy, joy and a desire to help others and lift them in their lives.
Brock, well, he's not quite sure what to make of Summer and her constant joy and sunshine. He was a fun leading man and his personality was a great balance for Summer's. But I loved when he started really getting to know her better and was pulled in by her sweetness just like everyone else that came around her.
I loved watching these two interact and work together, learning that both of their strengths together is a good thing.
The idea of having this story set on a college campus with the recruiting office employees was so much fun. I've never read a book with that setting or grouping of characters. It was great! I was transported back to those fun college days, especially when I was an ambassador for new students for a year.
I laughed out loud so many different times throughout this book. Summer's antics were just so much fun. Especially her late night escapade, the fluffy fun yellow dress and so many others. And for you romance fans, there is plenty of sweet and clean chemistry brewing between Summer and Brock.
If you're wanting a lighthearted, comedic and swoony read, pick up this new one from Meg Easton. If you haven't read her books before, you're in for a treat!

~It Started with a Note~ 5* ~ Oh My Heavens!!!! I can’t tell you how much I adored this book and how much I adored Avery and Nicholas! Oh my heart just loved this book. I know, I’m gushing. But honestly, I can’t help it! It truly was so wonderful. From the characters to the location and descriptions of Brussels. Wow! I was completely pulled into I from beginning to end. My only complaint was my lack of reading time, when all I wanted to do was to sit down and devour this story. I couldn’t stop thinking about it and wondering what was coming next for these two.
Avery needs to step away from her predictable life and decide who she wants to be. She loves her life, her job, her family and where she lives. But she wants to be more assertive and decisive and adventurous. What could be more adventurous than going on a vacation to a foreign country. And it doesn’t hurt that her friend, who was a foreign exchange student who lived with her family years before, has invited her for years to come visit and she can stay at his grandfather’s flat. Perfect! Thus commences the vacation of a lifetime for Avery.
All the descriptions of Brussels had me feel as if I was there being immersed in the sights and sounds and tastes and history right alongside Avery and her sister and Nicholas. It was amazing!!! Now I want to go travel there even more so than before.
Avery and Nicholas were just adorable. Their notes and messages back and forth. Their conversations. Their being up front with each other about their feelings and unsurety of a long distance relationship. I loved the picnics and surprises that Nicholas had in store for Avery and Riley (her sister).
They have a hiccup or two with their different backgrounds but nothing that they can’t overcome with the choices that they make and their desire for being together.
The sweet romance, their tender friendship, the family dynamics, the chemistry, the fashion, the chocolates (seriously I wanted to run to the store and buy me several of those chocolates!) and so much more within this book had me wanting it to never end.
Content: Clean. Some kisses but nothing further. No language and no explicit content.
~It Started with a Glance~ 5* ~If you want a charming book with characters who are just so sweet and wonderful, look no further!!! I love Elle's character. She's been mentioned in the previous two books of this series and it has been hinted at about Declan and her needing to interview him. So, needless to say, I have been anticipating their story.
Declan was not what I was expecting. He was just wonderful though. I loved his gentle, unassuming, kind, considerate, funny, friendly, and so many other great platitudes, personality. The first time he sees Elle...all the heart eyes.
His employees cracked me up in all their scheming between these two. They were the best. And they truly cared for Declan and wanted the best for him. All of the characters in this book were so well written and there wasn't drama and unnecessary problems in the book. It just was such a sweet book!
Elle has had a bit of a crush on Declan, even though they've never met. His voice has just captivated her and she makes sure to never miss one of his science videos. She's not the only one who is entranced by his voice. Man, I wish I could her his voice. Lol!
It was so cool how the author described Declan and his work and his employees. I was hooked!!! Another great read in the Love Started series. You can read them as stand alones but I've loved them all and recommend reading them all!!!
Content: Clean. Sweet and clean romance.

I loved coming back to this series and reading about Clarabelle and Franz's sweet love story! I devoured the first book and had to instantly dive into my arc of the second book! Now I'm trying to be patient for the next book. I need to know more about what happens with all of the characters in this series. They are fabulously written and developed. And I love that due to it being a series, we get to keep seeing them and learning more and more about them as the series progresses. Woohoo!!!
I loved the suspense that was woven into this sweet love at first sight story! Holy Cow! Those first moments of setting eyes on each other, and each subsequent one if I'm being honest, were wonderful! Let's just say the sparks are blindingly brilliant and the chemistry is off the charts! There is some spice but it doesn't cross the line between clean and not clean.
I loved watching Franz and Clarabelle work together to solve the mystery and danger, all while caring for and loving Dieter and Bianca, who are Franz's nephew and niece. They are pretty adorable kids.
Add in some family drama in the form of a twin sister who has set her sights on Franz and gives Clarabelle and good reason to stand up for what she wants and who she loves. *Happy Sigh*
Lovely story that I didn't want to end!
Content: Clean but there are several kisses that are a little more spicy. But like I said earlier, doesn't cross any lines. This is a Christian fiction novel. There are some mild moments of peril.

It touched my heart. I loved how the author developed the characters. Watching them learn and grown, especially through heartache and new realizations about their lives...it was very touching! This is definitely up there in my favorite couple of books that I've read of hers. Love, Love, Love it so much!!!
Peter has loved Jenny all of their lives. Their relationship was so adorable! There are hard moments and lots of unknowns but through it all I loved how their love for each other changed and grew as they changed and grew. It's super sweet and one that will leave a smile on readers' faces while they enjoy it.
I agree with many other reviewers who said that this author doesn't shy away from the hard topics, nor does she sugarcoat the Regency era in this book. It all added such a great depth to this story and the characters' arcs. Well done!!! Definitely one I would recommend all of my Regency loving friends should read!

I wanI love a good Best Friend's Sibling trope and Secret Crush tropes! Combined together and that's even better! I loved everything about this book. I wanted to savor it but also to read it all and see what would happen for Hazel and Maverick. Let me tell you, I was hooked! I loved every moment of it and didn't want it to end.
Maverick finds himself in hot water with his best friend, Sterling, who just happens to be Hazel's brother. There's a big misunderstanding but Maverick is trying to help is friend out, Sterling just doesn't know it. Poor Hazel is in the middle because of her loyalty to her brother but also her secret love for Maverick and for the fact that Maverick is her boss. And she loves what she does working with the horses.
I loved the chemistry and banter between Hazel and Maverick. Oh my! They've never come out and shared their love for each other and it tries Maverick when Hazel decides to turn the tables on him and starts flirting with the other cowboys. Hahaha! Those scenes had me giggling and cheering both of these two characters on. What transpires was so good!
I loved how Maverick handled the situation with Hazel and Sterling. I had a lot of respect for him in doing so. Both of the main characters had to work through issues from their past but those issues also helped them in figuring out and strengthening their friendship to more. I love how Jody Hedlund writes her characters. They have real problems and struggles and I love watching how they come to solve them and not let those things cause them to not progress.
You'll love the fun ending. You'll love the whole book! Especially if you're a fan of this author's books, you won't be disappointed! And there will be more books coming in this series!!! Yippee!!!
Content: This one has some spice but doesn't cross the line for not being clean. There are some passionate kisses but nothing further than kissing. Some mild peril but nothing overly graphic.
