Honestly, 99% of the information found in the book is in the subtitle. Have unwavering faith in your ability to succeed and put in the work to make your dreams a reality.
That’s it. That’s the message of the entire book.

But wow... I'm stunned at how much I enjoyed every single chapter (and the book in its entirety). In The Art Of The Good Life, Rolf explains how to make decisions that lead to long-lasting happiness.

I've enjoyed some. Meanwhile, others have been total flops. As you can tell by the rating, I LOVED Hidden Potential. So much so that I wish I could give it six stars.
Adam is a phenomenal writer, and this book was a fascinating read from start to finish. And since the audiobook has a full cast, I was often captivated and didn't want to put it down.

The main theme that stuck with me is keeping up with the Jones'. It's gone too far. In the digital age of social media, we often compare our lives to others, and wonder why our financial situation isn't perfect.
Here's the truth bomb: nobody's life is perfect. Everyone has cobwebs and things they want to change. Whether it be a lack of savings, overly frugal spending habits (despite being a millionaire), or anything else.

I'm a sucker for transportation-themed books. If it involves a train, plane, spaceship, etc, I'm probably at the front of the queue.

It's given me lots of ideas for increasing my income and getting more customers.

Some of the info in the travel companion was interesting. For example, there was a chapter that went behind the scenes, and discussed how producers get visas, book flights, etc. However, at least 50% of the book was just a tour guide with info on various activities in each city. Honestly, I wish there were more chapters taking people behind the scenes, as that's what I found to be genuinely interesting.

WOW. What a book.
In Breaking Free From Broke, George debunks financial conspiracy theories and lies about credit cards, mortgages, etc. He also provides practical tips for getting out of debt, paying cash for your own home, and so much more.
It's a fantastic book that everyone should read (at least once)!

To be clear, it's not your typical self-help book. Instead, it's filled with practical tools to help you understand (and most importantly combat) anxiety

There’s some good advice. If you’re feeling lost in life and need some direction, this book MIGHT provide some clarity. However, it often felt like the author had a very narrow target audience - but came up with an awesome title to sell more copies.
The defining decade isn’t a bad book. But it’s not fantastic, either.
