This is a sweet story of young love between Grace and Nolan. They finally find their way back to each other after four years apart. I love that their story is told in both of their point of view. I'm struggling with how Nolan didn't know why Grace left though as someone must have known what happened. And I want to know how what happened happened. If you're looking for a cute, quick read give this one a try.

Book 1 in The Throne Brothers series
Featuring ~ dual POV, enemies to lovers, minimal steamage
This was the most amicable enemies to lovers story I have ever read and I loved it! Beckett and Samantha are adorable together!! The dual point of view writing really shows what a sweetie Beckett is and what a hard worker Sam is. The relationship he has with his brothers is awesome and he takes his role as oldest very seriously. I love that his childhood turned him into a man who gives back to foster kids. The disappointment that Sam faced really made her shine as a businesswoman when she went after what she wants. There was a smidgen of a cliffhanger leaving me needing more. This was a cute, fun, chemistry packed page turner and I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Blackwell - work 4 fake to real ⭐ Man oh man, both Blackwell and Harper irk the heck out of me. Formally fake married and now giving it a go for real. Blackwell - work work work, sex sex sex - that's all he does. It's like he only sleeps 5 minutes a night throughout the whole book. He's a hot hunka bunch of alpha controllingness with a side of throat grabbing. He's still hot and cold, but at least we learn more about his past in this book. Harper - sweet, Harper just gives, gives, gives and hardly gets anything in return, except a hella lotta orgasms. Kyle bugs me and really does give off a stalking vibe. It's well written and we get a little teaser of something at the end, leaving us on the cliff, like Cook likes to do.

I’m sure we’ve all participated in a rumor a time or two that might have gotten out of hand. Everyone becomes a suspect. Although I did not see the twist coming, I had the vague feeling this plot was similar to another book I’ve read, but I can’t think of what it is. I could tell the author is British too with all the tea drinking and talking for ages, so I’m surprised it took place in the US. And every time I looked at the title I would sing the song “I’ve heard a rumor” by Bananarama ...more

Eliza and Anthony reunite 8 years after a misunderstanding tore them apart. She thought he was a jerk and didn't want to hear his side of the story. Will things change after she hears him out? It's a quick enough read, so you won't have to wait too long to find out. I did not really connect with this story, however I did love Eliza's Grandma. John was a great protective brother too.

Another clean, sweet, slow burn story from Ms. Woods. Amelia has a one track mind - get into vet school without any distractions. Rob starts off as quite the cocky inspector that thinks "all my demands must be met, or else!" After he starts hanging out with Amelia we see the sweet, caring side to this guy. His boss puts him in a situation that you just hope he does the right thing. I liked Amelia and Rob's story well enough, but I didn't like that she ran herself ragged with all the studying and second guessing herself. And as always, I do love reading about the dogs though.

This was super cute and fun! You gotta love a fake romance...They inevitably start to fall for each other, but are too afraid to say something in case the other isn't feeling it, but eventually it all works out. I love the dual pov, especially when Tom talks to himself like he's an old fart at twenty-nine.
If you're looking for a sweet, clean as a whistle, fake relationship book set in Christmastime with a side of dogs, then look no further.

Oh the Green Eyed Devil with his sexy forearms! I am usually not a fan of pregnancy being the main focus of my reads (I am prefer it in the epilogue), but Luke was so attentive and thoughtful, in his own way, to Cleo and Bee, that it made me like this one. It was sort of a slow burn, but it all came together nicely in the end. I love that although this story is primarily about Cleo and Luke, the whole crew from False Start is heavily involved. I felt like I was seeing my old friends again and I can wait to read a story for each of them.

Rigel and Tamsin have been best friends for 20 years and this is a classic case of not knowing what's right in front of you until it's moved on. I do enjoy my books a little bit more when they're told in dual point of views, which really brings the characters true feelings to light. I liked how Tamsin was genuine with her thoughts and feelings, but I wish she didn't feel like she needed to change her appearance. At times I felt like I was reading about teenagers and not 20 somethings. I was, also, surprised there were magic elements, which was intriguing. I ...more
