honestamente, no sé qué pensar ni como calificarlo.
me entretuvo un montón y lo encontré más sexy que la mierda. nunca había un libro con una relación entre tres personas y disfruté mucho ese aspecto. especialmente el miedo que tenía uno de los chicos en admitir que se sentía atraído por el otro chico.
sin embargo, la trama es una mierda JAJA. en verdad no existe trama. no logramos conocer prácticamente nada de los personajes y más encima, nada de lo que pasa tiene sentido.
en fin, si les recomiendo tener ojo porque el consentimiento es medio dudoso al principio. de hecho, antes del acto ella no quería (después de todo, me muero si dos prisioneros me captan y me dicen que quieren tener sexo conmigo), pero después se dio cuenta de que se sentía atraída a los weones.

So I was going to write a full review, but now I don't feel like it so I just want to talk about one specific thing that keeps bothering me
I've mentioned this before, but why do authors make anal out to be something really easy and pain-free? Like the character will just shove it in, without prep or lube and the receiver likes it?? There's absolutely no way.
Ruger is the top between him and Klay and it was talked about many times that Ruger is seriously hung. So color me surprised when Ruger shoves his dick into Klay like he was trying to fit a key through a lock.

This one, in my point of view (it's always my point of view, others may agree or disagree), it's really hot and one of the J. K.'s best.
Wendy goes to a prison to see her father, in her visit, there's a riot.
She finds herself in the cell with two gorgeous men, or at least Klay is.
Ruger is different, but there's an instant chemistry between the three of them.
Ruger, who's also a virgin, has is cherry popped with Wendy on Klay's command.
When Klay goes for his turn, the peace is restored in the prison.
And now?
What these men are willing to do to be with their woman?
Meanwhile, the attraction between the two of them, that were covered, it's revealing due to the experience.
Ruger had already accepted he was attracted to Klay, but is Klay prepared to do that?
It's a mfm/mmf story.

Not me reading this as soon as I saw it on my TL from one of my friends review, because, come on, everything this author writes goes straight to my tbr 😍

I read this over a month ago and I wrote and didn’t post a review. This was trashy and since then with my review of Satan's Affair by H.D. Carlton I give zero fucks about not explaining my thoughts on smutty psychotic books. So here is the review:
My first Jessa Kane. I’ve seen a ton of my Goodreads friends read her and always say they don’t love them but they keep coming back. I can see why. To me there is no spark to her writing, it just feels kinda lame. This is a 1.75 star book, rounded to 2. Over quarantine, I read a few series where the characters were in prison probably because I felt like I was in a prison. Those characters always seem to Shawshank their way out of it and Ruger and Klay the heroes do break out. How the romance developed and occurred was fast and dirty. As the synopsis tells, a prison break happens and the prison goes on lock down. She is taken hostage in a cell with 2 inmates who have not been near a woman in A LONG TIME. So of course they want to fuck their “treasure” and later each other.
More into the characters.
Wendy the heroine. She basically has no characterization beyond her past trauma as the result of the man she was visiting when the prison breakout occured. Her father. She wanted to see her dad rot in prison in person. But damn bad day to come visit. VIRGIN and damn does she read that way.
Klay hero #1. He has a dominant personality of the group but is the bottom. Ruger and him have been best friends forever. I honestly could not forgive him. There are major consent issues and I get that chances were Wendy was gonna get raped when the shit hit the fan but don’t recast someone as her hero when she should have never had that happen to her. Further, Klay’s backstory for when he get’s in jail is messed up. Banging a widow and some more stuff.
Ruger hero #2. He is the stoic guardian. The top in what should have been a nice M/M romance without Wendy. Without Wendy in the picture the consent issues are gone. Plus, Klay and Ruger are clearly WAY more in love with each other than Wendy. I am convinced her only role was as a breeder as they mention in the epilogue. I think they were in lust with her but at that point just open your relationship instead of making an unbalanced throuple. Back to Ruger. The boy virgin who just had too big of c*ck. This characterization made a lot of the sex scenes unbelievably unbelievable. (I get it is redundant but it needs saying.)
Strike 1 for Jessa Kane. 3 strikes and I am giving up. But I am not rushing to try another of her books. This was really something...

Esta novela corta se hizo viral en booktok y sí, yo también sigo las tendencias de vez en cuando porque no tengo nada en su contra, el problema es que rara vez me gustan.
No toca temas que me escandalicen especialmente: es una relación de tres que surge de una manera muy cuestionable luego de que dos presos se escapen de la cárcel y secuestren a una chica. Dentro del romance oscuro, esto es algo suave. Aún así, mi valoración no es por la trama, que yo ya sabía de qué iba y sería hipócrita de mi parte darle una valoración baja solo por eso, es por lo mal escrita que esta y la incoherencia adherida a cada palabra. Las circunstancias de los personajes daban espacio a una exploración psicológica no precisa (no voy a pedir tanto), pero sí más interesante y dramática y yo no sentí que se aprovechara su potencial. Eso sí, ninguno de los protagonistas me cayó mal, me daban un chingo de cringe, pero eran simpáticos incluso cuando era más que obvio que necesitan ser internados en un psiquiátrico por el bien de la sociedad.
Ah, cierto, el epílogo es... ¿por qué?
PSD: luego de pensarlo un poco creo que lo justo (por las risas) es darle dos estrellas.

I mean I've read dozens of JK's books before, but you can't SERIOUSLY tell me that... she wrote this.

It wasn't exactly the plot that made me wanna throw this book to my wall, even thought that in itself would've been worth it.
It was just the heroine, who I for the love of God just couldn't for the life of me fathom.
For what it's worth, C- for the first ever mm romance cameo I've ever seen from Jessa
And B+ for the sex so this gets a 1.5 Star ✨

Oh Jess’s Kane…quick burns, instalove, OTT possessive heroes, virgin MCs…checks! This was a good one in terms of pure entertainment! Bonus, one of the guys was completely inexperienced, and it was also unexpectedly sweet!

My Jessa Kane journey reached book no.3 and I chose this book. Because insanity is a state of mind!
The title is pretty self-explanatory if you ask me. There's no need to read the blurb. I generally find most of Jessa's book titles hilarious, perhaps because they are a bit cheesy or maybe because they are OTT, just like her mmcs.
And because I handled Jessa's mmcs individually so well -not-😶, in this book we have two of them😪. Two OTT, "me tarzan you jane" mmcs. I've come to the conclusion that her brand is outrageously possessive and obsessive mmcs.
The plot in this book is w-i-l-d . It had many similarities to cheesy p*rn scenarios😬, but I knew that already, before diving in and along with Jessa's writing, which is nice, I enjoyed it🤷♀️. I even cared for the plot! The dialogues and the d*rty talk are just… crazy. Both in a good and a bad way. *Mixed feelings*
If you don't take the plot seriously and just get into it to have fun, it's a fun novella.

This is a very fast-paced book that was, honestly, too short for what the author was trying to do. I do think that the book needed to pick a lane. The author needed to choose for it to have a plot with a “finding yourself” theme or to have it just be smut, but she couldn’t have it be both, not with the extremely short word count. It ended up leaving too much to be desired. Honestly, if she’d added 100 pages, it could have been a fantastic story.
