I loved this book - its messy, confusing, evocative and chaotic madness. Made me dream.

The writing!! It was beautiful and amazing. I really enjoyed this book and the characters that live within it. Several times I found myself re-reading passages because of the beauty in the way the author had used words to paint a picture or describe a particular feeling or situation. Very well written and excellent book.

You'll want to savor this one. It is hard to believe this is a first novel. What a glorious journey into Otherworlds, and those who dwell in them, just by one step sideways, through the doorways in the fabric of our world. A beautiful, captivating story that makes this book hard to put down.
