Nor dare we'fuppofe the prefent Miniftets and Adminiftrators of Jufiice guilty of to great partiality, as to be enflani'd againft thefe'few mo deft (beets, after they have tollerated and difpeneed with the publicationof fomany Pepifh Pamphletg'full Of'vi rulence; as Well againfi the ]ufiice and Honour of Para liaments, as inferior Courts of Judicature. And if they that have appeared as Apglogifi: for Cole/wan and the, five fiefiritr, have been filently overlookt, norwithfianding their apg' pearing Advocates for the innocency of thofe men, not only in contradifiion to Oral Tefiimonyg, b'ut'in' defiance of Papers. And Letters under the hands of the very Cri minals, declarative of their Confpiraey and, guiltg We may then allure our felves of fair quarter immanaging a defence for-thofe Proteflants who have nothing to appre hend or fearfrom Papers or Letters produceable againfi' them, but fiandcommitted meetly upon the Depofitions of a few perfons whofe credit we (hall make appear to be too weak to obtain belief.
