River Song was an interesting and informative read for this child of the Chattahoochee River.
Beautiful photographs accompany stories of the history of man's relationship with the river and the people that occupy it today - or, in 1995.
It's a coffee-table-sized book, appropriate for the photographs but rendering it a bit unwieldy to handle.
The story telling is interesting, but can be a bit boring at times. I would have liked to hear more about their physical experience of floating through the different geographies of the river, whereas most of the book is made up of stories of the people they met along the way.
