She’s half unicorn, half bloodsucker, and all trouble. But can this supernatural assassin stay alive in a world that’s out to destroy her?
Tru Dennison’s life is one sick joke. Forced onto the streets, she struggles to keep her magical identity a secret. When the half-vampire, half-unicorn hybrid has an altercation with an angry shifter, she’s thrown horn-first into a paranormal tug-of-war with life-changing consequences.
But Tru refuses to be a pawn in someone else's game. As she grapples with a mysterious sickness — and fights a forbidden attraction to her irresistible angel mentor — she’s plunged into a deadly magical world where enemies lurk around every corner.
With only her otherworldly powers and sheer determination keeping her alive, Tru must control her wild emotions long enough to bring justice to a world that would rather see her dead.
Rebel of the Otherworld is an urban fantasy omnibus edition containing Tru Dennison’s three full-length Cursed Vampire, Rebel Unicorn, and Rebel Vampire. If you like underestimated heroes, deeply emotional stories, and vampires with a twist, then you’ll adore Brogan Thomas’s suspense-filled rollercoaster ride.
Brogan lives in Ireland with her husband and their eleven furry children: five furry minions of darkness (aka the cats), four hellhounds (the dogs), and two traditional unicorns (fat, hairy Irish cobs).
In 2019 she embraced her craziness by writing about the imaginary people that live in her head. Her first love is her husband followed by her number-one favourite furry child Bob the cob, then reading. When not reading or writing, she can be found knee-deep in horse poo and fur while blissfully ignoring all adult responsibilities.
Tru Dennison is a vampire/unicorn hybrid. How much trouble can she find? Turns out, quite a bit.
I found this series so entertaining and fun! I love how slightly crazy and sassy Tru is. She has lots of stubbornness and a heart of gold. This series was a rollercoaster ride of emotions, from highest of highs to lowest of lows, and Brogan Thomas dragged me right on through it all! Loved it!
