Yay - it's another thriller where the author thinks that the more gruesome it is, the more deserving of our attention! Another thriller where the characters are supposedly interesting, but instead have all the depth of a pancake! This book is absolute tripe: the story is nonsensical, highly reliant on coincidence, full of holes - and that's even before the psychic nun (I wish I was joking) gets involved. We keep getting told that the characters are flawed and interesting, but without constantly getting told there's no way you would ever realise that. The main female character (sorry, can't remember her name) apparently is deeply flawed and unable to relate to people. Strange, because she acts and talks exactly like everyone else in the book. Goran Gavila (remembered that one!) is apparently a man of insight and mysterious thoughts, but again, apart from constantly being reminded of his unusual eyes you'd never realise that. Given that the author is so poor at characterisation, you have to wonder why there are so many of them - a whole host of hopeless serial killer hunters who are all exactly the same and add nothing to the story. Meanwhile, the plot lurches on from gruesome murder scene to gruesome murder scene, the author obviously having fun trying to make each murder more disgusting than the last. Someone really should tell him that plot and character are rather more important to quality than the quantity of gore.
Having said that, I've given it two stars as it's so basically written you can finish it within a couple of days, and at least it's not written by Ben Elton.

Novela de mucho éxito de Donato Carrisi, publicada dos veces con diferentes títulos. “Lobos” en 2009 y “El susurrador” en 2019, lo que parece que ha llevado a muchos lectores a la confusión, y a leerla dos veces. Desconozco el motivo. En realidad, su título original es “Il suggeritore”, que es el apuntador que recuerda a los actores y actrices de teatro las palabras o frases que olvidan, aunque esta profesión haya caído en desuso. Aquí el término, según la psicología, viene a referirse a los “susurradores” que son capaces de incidir en las personalidades más débiles. Pero estoy divagando.
Si te gustan las novelas policíacas de giros y giros y más giros (por muy inverosímiles que estos sean), esta puede ser tu novela. De hecho, con tanto cambio de nombre, la podían haber titulado finalmente “El tiovivo” (por lo de los giros interminables). Y es que llega un momento que ya te marea.
Lo bueno: Que mantiene un buen ritmo que te engancha desde la primera página, con un equipo de investigadores muy atractivo, a los que hay que sumar a la protagonista, Mila, con la que no pude empatizar en ningún momento (ella tampoco siente empatía con nadie, o eso nos quiere hacer creer). Estos se excluyen en un piso, al que llaman El Pensatorio (no se han calentado los cascos, ni el autor tampoco) para decidir los pasos a seguir. El objetivo: la caza de un asesino en serie, en este caso de niñas (no desvelo nada importante, porque se descubre al principio de la novela), a las que, encima, les amputa el brazo derecho. Como queda dicho, ritmo narrativo ágil y buen uso de las palabras, con magníficas descripciones (algunas no aptas para estómagos sensibles). Y, además, es interesante. Lo suficiente como para leerla hasta el final.
A destacar también el perfil psicológico que el autor nos va desgranando en boca de los investigadores sobre los asesinos en serie. Esa parte se la ha currado.
Lo no tan bueno: Que la trama, y, por consiguiente, la novela, no tarda en salirse de madre. Tanto giro me conduce a la estupefacción. Demasiada inverosimilitud. Y llega un momento en el que dejo de creerme a mis héroes investigadores, especialmente a Mila. Y, por supuesto, todos tienen algo que ocultar, algo que irá saliendo poco a poco a flote, según van avanzando los capítulos. En alguna de esas cosas ocultas creo que al autor también se le ha ido un poco la mano. Y encima me mete a una vidente (monja-vidente, por más señas), que da con una localización muy importante. Oh, yeah!
El final queda más o menos atadito, excepto por la última página, en donde Carrisi ya nos anuncia que no, que habrá continuación (de hecho, ya ha habido varias). Pero, no sé si estaré dispuesto a leerla. Las 3,5 estrellas que le concedo a esta lectura no me dejan muy predispuesto a ello. Sé que esta novela ha gustado mucho, pero conmigo ha dado en hueso.

Είναι η δεύτερη φορά στη ζωή μου που πονοκεφαλιάζω τόσο έντονα με ένα βιβλίο (η πρώτη, όταν έπεσε στο κεφάλι μου ο Τσελεμεντές από τη βιβλιοθήκη).
Ο εγκληματολόγος Γκόραν Γκάβιλα και η ειδική στις εξαφανίσεις Μίλα Βάσκες, καλούνται να εξιχνιάσουν μια σειρά από στυγερά εγκλήματα. Οι ήρωες μας, κυνηγούν ένα θεόμουρλο, ο οποίος σκοτώνει με μεγαλύτερη συχνότητα απ΄ότι ανοιγοκλείνει τα μάτια του. Καθόλη τη διάρκεια της ανάγνωσης, τα νεύρα μου ήταν τεντωμένα και αναρωτιόμουν συνεχώς γιατί… ΓΙΑΤΙ δεν μπορούν να τον συλλάβουν, με τόσα θύματα που άφηνε πίσω του. Ούτε στον Πελοποννησιακό τόσοι νεκροί. Η μόνη εξήγηση που έδινα ήταν, πως μετά από κάθε έγκλημα, μεταμορφωνόταν σε εκατομμύρια κατσαρίδες και εξαφανιζόταν.
Απίστευτα καλογραμμένο, και αγωνία μεχρι τη τελευταία σελίδα κυριολεκτικά.
Το τέλος του βιβλίου? Τίγκα στην ανατροπή. Ίσως το καλύτερο αστυνομικό μυθιστόρημα που έχω διαβάσει.
Δε μπορώ να μη σχολιάσω το χάλια εξώφυλλο. Σοβαρά τώρα, που κολλάνε με το περιεχόμενο, τα νούφαρα, τα πλατανόφυλλα, οι μούντζες, το ποταμάκι και η κοπέλα που ποζάρει σαν τη γοργόνα της Κοπεγχάγης? Αστυνομικό θρίλερ είναι, όχι η ιστορία αγάπης του Σιρίλο με τη Μαρία Χοακίνα. Πως δε βάλατε και μια ροζ οδοντόβουρτσα? Τέσπα, πέρασα καλά διαβάζοντας το.

Triler koji je kod nas preveden pod nazivom "Šaptač" ujedno je i prvi roman italijanskog pisca Donata Karizija. Karizi je moj kolega :) diplomirao je pravo, a potom pohađao i specijalističke kurseve iz kriminologije i biheviorizma. Autor na kraju knjige napominje da je "Šaptač" inspirisan slučajevima koji su se stvarno desili.
Karizi se odlučio da u svom prvom romanu obradi temu koja je poprilično kontraverzna kako u domenu krivične odgovornosti, tako i psihologije specifičnih učinilaca krivičnih dela - tzv.šaptača koji navode na izvršenje krivičnih dela.
Moram priznati da sam čitanju ove knjige pristupila sa određenim predrasudama. Naime, jako volim trilere, ali kad ih pročitate u popriličnom broju nekako vam sve postane predvidivo i šablonski.
Ne tvrdim da Šaptač ne odstupa od određenih šablona, naprotiv: neprilagođena glavna junakinja koja ima problem sa intimnošću i koja živi u nekom svom svetu, tamne tajne iz prošlosti, politički nastrojeni glavni inspektor... dakle šabloni su tu, ali je Karizi sve to odlično uklopio u jedan dinamičan, uzbudljiv i na momente nepredvidiv triler.
Ne isključujem mogućnost da mi je Šaptač možda i legao posle niza naslova iz domena fantastike, te da sam možda pod prvim utiskom dala i veću ocenu nego što je to realno, ali je ispunio svoju svrhu - zabavio me je, prekratio mi vreme u gradskom prevozu i kao što rekoh na momente iznenadio. Mada, moram da napomenem da sam ipak od samog starta naslutila "krajnji rezultat" jedino nisam znala "tok utakmice".
Sve u svemu, štivo koje se brzo čita i koje je idealno za ovo letnje vreme. Koliko mi je poznato kod nas je objavljen još jedan naslov istog autora pod nazivom "Lovac na duše" i verovatno ću ga potražiti u skorije vreme.

Ugh. This one didn't work for me. 1 star for making me skim through the whole book because I wanted to know who did it and for having some interesting elements in the ending. But not that much...
Too many boring explanations, too many repetitions, too many characters I didn't believe in at all and too many easy solutions (an old medium, really? I like fantasy elements when they seem to fit with the story... That was just out of nowhere!).
That's it! Needless to say my review doesn't reflect the global rating ;)

Scrivere è difficile. Scrivere thriller investigativi è MOLTO difficile.
Questo perché il thriller investigativo (il nipote dal taglio più cinematografico del classico giallo), di per sé, contiene già degli stilemi immediatamente riconoscibili al pubblico. C'è sempre uno o più criminali (in genere serial killer) a cui uno o più investigatori daranno la caccia e che alla fine riusciranno (o non riusciranno) a catturare. Inserire, a volontà, un finale a sorpresa.
L'avvento del cinema e delle serie TV non hanno fatto altro che radicare ancora di più questi stilemi al punto di farli diventare degli stereotipi. Provate ad andare in libreria, comprate una ventina di thriller a caso e portatemene uno che non abbia una trama simile a quella che ho appena descritto.
Vabbè, quindi i thriller sono tutti uguali? NO! La differenza tra un thriller e l'altro la fanno i dettagli che, come è risaputo, è dove si annida il diavolo.
Se vuoi fare un buon thriller, in sostanza, non c'è bisogno di reinventare la ruota, devi riuscire soltanto a riempire la tua storia di dettagli che la caratterizzino e la facciano brillare nel mare magnum delle zozzerie gialle da quattro soldi. E scrivere dei bei dettagli non è per niente facile. Lo scrittore di thriller, al pari forse dello scrittore di hard sf, deve fare un enorme lavoro di ricerca per poter raccontare al lettore una storia particolareggiata e credibile. Sei uno scrittore di thriller e vuoi, per esempio, presentarmi il classico enigma del delitto geniale nella stanza ermeticamente chiusa? Benissimo! L'importante è che il tuo delitto sia veramente geniale, che l'investigatore riesca a mettere nel sacco l'assassino con uno stratagemma verosimile e che il finale a sorpresa, se c'è, sia credibile e affascinante. Il tutto è possibile solo e soltanto se i dettagli inseriti nella storia sono attinenti alla realtà. Altrimenti, non stai scrivendo un thriller o un giallo, ma una parodia del genere.
E qui veniamo a noi: Donato Carrisi ha scritto una parodia del thriller investigativo. Involontariamente.
Di seguito, una serie di castronerie presenti nel libro al posto dei già succitati "dettagli verosimili", da qui in poi considerate questa recensione gonfia di

- I bravi investigatori trovano (per caso) una bimba morta nel portabagagli della macchina di un pedofilo.Il cadavere si trova all'interno di un sacco di plastica che, a causa della decomposizione, ha aderito alla pelle. Il medico legale incaricato dell'autopsia impiega decine di minuti per staccare il sacco dalla pelle del cadavere per non rischiare di scuoiarlo. I bravi investigatori notano che l'omicida ha ricomposto il cadavere, lo ha pettinato, ecc. Il loro commento: "l'ha fatta bella per noi". Certo...peccato che quel genio del serial killer abbia ficcato il cadavere in una busta di plastica che rischiava di trasformare la sua opera in un incrocio tra Freddy Krueger e una prugna secca.
- I bravi investigatori vanno a perquisire la casa del pedofilo accusato di omicidio (che nel frattempo si è suicidato in carcere perché OPS! qualcuno si è dimenticato di controllare che non lo faccia...) e in meno di una mattinata riescono a scoprire quasi tutto sulle sue abitudini internettiane. Come? La parola a Carrisi, che ha il coraggio di mettere in bocca al suo bravo investigatore le seguenti parole (vi giuro che sto copiando paro paro quanto scritto nel libro, non mi sto inventando niente):
"Ho chiamato la società titolare del server e mi hanno dato una lista di pagine web visitate negli ultimi sei mesi. [...] A quanto pare aveva una passione per i siti dedicati alla natura, ai viaggi e agli animali. E poi acquistava in rete roba d'antiquariato e, su ebay, soprattutto farfalle da collezione."
Ora, sarà che sono un tecnico informatico, ma a quel "ho chiamato la società titolare del server" sono quasi morto dal ridere. Secondo Carrisi, esiste "un server" gestito da una fantomatica società che tiene in caldo i log di navigazione di...boh, praticamente tutto il mondo e a cui la polizia può semplicemente rivolgersi per avere non solo i dettagli di navigazione, ma anche gli acquisti che ha fatto su ebay! Giustamente, perch�� la Polizia Postale si scomoda ad aprire siti civetta o opera sotto copertura nelle chat line per scoprire i pedofili. Basta fare una telefonata alla società titolare del SERVER!
- Non è dato sapere se i bravi investigatori utilizzino lo stesso stratagemma (il SERVER!) anche per ottenere vita morte e miracoli del povero signor Kobashi, un povero Cristo che dopo essere tornato da una vacanza di tre settimane con la famiglia torna a casa e ci trova il cadavere in putrefazione di una bambina. Fatto sta che, in poche ore, pur essendo chiaro a chiunque che il povero Kobashi è l'uomo meno sospettabile del mondo, dato che in questo caso ha più alibi del Papa, riescono, sempre in poche ore, a scoprire che ha un conto off-shore in cui inguattare i risparmi evadendo le tasse, che partecipa ai tornei di golf come semiprofessionista e che la moglie lo cornifica con un suo amico. Il tutto, per uno che non è neanche un sospettato. Violazione della privacy? Noooo, perché!?
- I Gress, i dirimpettai del povero Kobashi, inoltre, sono stati tenuti prigionieri da un maniaco omicida per sei mesi. Ma nessuno si è mai accorto di niente. La motivazione? Scrive Carrisi:
"Gli unici parenti della Gress vivevano lontano."
Certo. Due bambini mancano da scuola per sei mesi, ma nessuno si è chiesto niente. Niente.
I parenti? Gli amici? Nemmeno una telefonata. Eh, ma i parenti vivevano lontano. Tipo su Saturno.
- I Gress, che evidentemente stavano sulle palle a tutti dato che nessuno li ha cercati per sei mesi, sono infine stati fatti a pezzi con una motosega. Ma nessuno ha sentito niente. I Gress abitano in un centro residenziale deluxe con telecamere e guardie private. Non immagino nemmeno quanto ci voglia per fare a pezzi tre persone con una motosega, immagino delle ore, ma stranamente nessuno si è chiesto perché si sentivano rombi di motosega da casa Gress, ma è risaputo, quei Gress che sono spariti per sei mesi sono un po' strani. Hanno i parenti su Saturno.
- Sempre riguardo ai Gress, il bravo tecnico di laboratorio, alleato stretto dei bravi investigatori, scopre qualcosa che non va in una stanza e chiama tutti a raccolta. Nella stanza non c'è niente, ma se spruzzano il luminol la troveranno completamente imbrattata di sangue. Il luminol serve a evidenziare le tracce di sangue che sono state cancellate ma, come sottolinea Carrisi, non rimane in eterno, agisce per solo trenta secondi dopodiché è praticamente inutilizzabile perché anche spruzzandolo di nuovo non torna a rendere fosforescenti le macchie di sangue. Il tecnico non ha ancora spruzzato il luminol quando chiama i bravi investigatori...quindi come fa a sapere che ha scoperto qualcosa? Boh.
Fatto sta che i muri della stanza (una stanza di 20 metri quadri, come sottolinea Carrisi) sono interamente spruzzati di sangue. - Il killer dei Gress è uno squattrinato che vive in una discarica con il rischio di morire a causa del percolato. La polizia lo scopre e lo stringe d'assedio, ma il bravo killer si è barricato dentro casa con dei fucili e ha tappezzato la proprietà di mine antiuomo. Ripeto: di mine antiuomo! Dove le ha prese? Al...boh, mercato nero delle tribù africane? Quanto gli sono costate?
Solo per oggi, ai supermercati Carrisi, c'è il 3x2 sul latte intero e sulle mine antiuomo! Affrettatevi!
- Torniamo al povero Kobashi. Il killer deve aver utilizzato un bello stratagemma per mettere il cadavere della bambina in una casa che si trova in un centro residenziale per ricconi pieno di telecamere. Non solo, c'è tornato parecchie volte perché ha studiato l'altro killer, quello dei Gress, per mesi. I nostri hanno un'intuizione:
"Esatto!" Tuona il criminologo cervellone, "Perché lui ogni volta ha oscurato le telecamere con un piccolo blackout."
Ecco fatto! Un piccolo blackout al giorno e nessuno si accorge di niente. Oh, uno piccolo eh! Che ci vuole!
Voglio fermarmi qua con la mia analisi, ma vi assicuro che questo romanzo è pieno di incongruenze, conti che non tornano e plateali castronerie assortite come quelle che ho appena menzionato.
Scusate se me la prendo tanto, ma finire questo libro è stata veramente un'agonia. I personaggi sono banali e stereotipati, i serial killer scialbi, i metodi di investigazione sono semplicisti quando non addirittura bambineschi. Vi basti sapere che in un caso i bravi investigatori si affidano a una medium e in un altro all'ipnosi.
E' difficile scrivere dei bei thriller.
E Carrisi non ce l'ha fatta.
Questo perché il thriller investigativo (il nipote dal taglio più cinematografico del classico giallo), di per sé, contiene già degli stilemi immediatamente riconoscibili al pubblico. C'è sempre uno o più criminali (in genere serial killer) a cui uno o più investigatori daranno la caccia e che alla fine riusciranno (o non riusciranno) a catturare. Inserire, a volontà, un finale a sorpresa.
L'avvento del cinema e delle serie TV non hanno fatto altro che radicare ancora di più questi stilemi al punto di farli diventare degli stereotipi. Provate ad andare in libreria, comprate una ventina di thriller a caso e portatemene uno che non abbia una trama simile a quella che ho appena descritto.
Vabbè, quindi i thriller sono tutti uguali? NO! La differenza tra un thriller e l'altro la fanno i dettagli che, come è risaputo, è dove si annida il diavolo.
Se vuoi fare un buon thriller, in sostanza, non c'è bisogno di reinventare la ruota, devi riuscire soltanto a riempire la tua storia di dettagli che la caratterizzino e la facciano brillare nel mare magnum delle zozzerie gialle da quattro soldi. E scrivere dei bei dettagli non è per niente facile. Lo scrittore di thriller, al pari forse dello scrittore di hard sf, deve fare un enorme lavoro di ricerca per poter raccontare al lettore una storia particolareggiata e credibile. Sei uno scrittore di thriller e vuoi, per esempio, presentarmi il classico enigma del delitto geniale nella stanza ermeticamente chiusa? Benissimo! L'importante è che il tuo delitto sia veramente geniale, che l'investigatore riesca a mettere nel sacco l'assassino con uno stratagemma verosimile e che il finale a sorpresa, se c'è, sia credibile e affascinante. Il tutto è possibile solo e soltanto se i dettagli inseriti nella storia sono attinenti alla realtà. Altrimenti, non stai scrivendo un thriller o un giallo, ma una parodia del genere.
E qui veniamo a noi: Donato Carrisi ha scritto una parodia del thriller investigativo. Involontariamente.
Di seguito, una serie di castronerie presenti nel libro al posto dei già succitati "dettagli verosimili", da qui in poi considerate questa recensione gonfia di

- I bravi investigatori trovano (per caso) una bimba morta nel portabagagli della macchina di un pedofilo.Il cadavere si trova all'interno di un sacco di plastica che, a causa della decomposizione, ha aderito alla pelle. Il medico legale incaricato dell'autopsia impiega decine di minuti per staccare il sacco dalla pelle del cadavere per non rischiare di scuoiarlo. I bravi investigatori notano che l'omicida ha ricomposto il cadavere, lo ha pettinato, ecc. Il loro commento: "l'ha fatta bella per noi". Certo...peccato che quel genio del serial killer abbia ficcato il cadavere in una busta di plastica che rischiava di trasformare la sua opera in un incrocio tra Freddy Krueger e una prugna secca.
- I bravi investigatori vanno a perquisire la casa del pedofilo accusato di omicidio (che nel frattempo si è suicidato in carcere perché OPS! qualcuno si è dimenticato di controllare che non lo faccia...) e in meno di una mattinata riescono a scoprire quasi tutto sulle sue abitudini internettiane. Come? La parola a Carrisi, che ha il coraggio di mettere in bocca al suo bravo investigatore le seguenti parole (vi giuro che sto copiando paro paro quanto scritto nel libro, non mi sto inventando niente):
"Ho chiamato la società titolare del server e mi hanno dato una lista di pagine web visitate negli ultimi sei mesi. [...] A quanto pare aveva una passione per i siti dedicati alla natura, ai viaggi e agli animali. E poi acquistava in rete roba d'antiquariato e, su ebay, soprattutto farfalle da collezione."
Ora, sarà che sono un tecnico informatico, ma a quel "ho chiamato la società titolare del server" sono quasi morto dal ridere. Secondo Carrisi, esiste "un server" gestito da una fantomatica società che tiene in caldo i log di navigazione di...boh, praticamente tutto il mondo e a cui la polizia può semplicemente rivolgersi per avere non solo i dettagli di navigazione, ma anche gli acquisti che ha fatto su ebay! Giustamente, perch�� la Polizia Postale si scomoda ad aprire siti civetta o opera sotto copertura nelle chat line per scoprire i pedofili. Basta fare una telefonata alla società titolare del SERVER!
- Non è dato sapere se i bravi investigatori utilizzino lo stesso stratagemma (il SERVER!) anche per ottenere vita morte e miracoli del povero signor Kobashi, un povero Cristo che dopo essere tornato da una vacanza di tre settimane con la famiglia torna a casa e ci trova il cadavere in putrefazione di una bambina. Fatto sta che, in poche ore, pur essendo chiaro a chiunque che il povero Kobashi è l'uomo meno sospettabile del mondo, dato che in questo caso ha più alibi del Papa, riescono, sempre in poche ore, a scoprire che ha un conto off-shore in cui inguattare i risparmi evadendo le tasse, che partecipa ai tornei di golf come semiprofessionista e che la moglie lo cornifica con un suo amico. Il tutto, per uno che non è neanche un sospettato. Violazione della privacy? Noooo, perché!?
- I Gress, i dirimpettai del povero Kobashi, inoltre, sono stati tenuti prigionieri da un maniaco omicida per sei mesi. Ma nessuno si è mai accorto di niente. La motivazione? Scrive Carrisi:
"Gli unici parenti della Gress vivevano lontano."
Certo. Due bambini mancano da scuola per sei mesi, ma nessuno si è chiesto niente. Niente.
I parenti? Gli amici? Nemmeno una telefonata. Eh, ma i parenti vivevano lontano. Tipo su Saturno.
- I Gress, che evidentemente stavano sulle palle a tutti dato che nessuno li ha cercati per sei mesi, sono infine stati fatti a pezzi con una motosega. Ma nessuno ha sentito niente. I Gress abitano in un centro residenziale deluxe con telecamere e guardie private. Non immagino nemmeno quanto ci voglia per fare a pezzi tre persone con una motosega, immagino delle ore, ma stranamente nessuno si è chiesto perché si sentivano rombi di motosega da casa Gress, ma è risaputo, quei Gress che sono spariti per sei mesi sono un po' strani. Hanno i parenti su Saturno.
- Sempre riguardo ai Gress, il bravo tecnico di laboratorio, alleato stretto dei bravi investigatori, scopre qualcosa che non va in una stanza e chiama tutti a raccolta. Nella stanza non c'è niente, ma se spruzzano il luminol la troveranno completamente imbrattata di sangue. Il luminol serve a evidenziare le tracce di sangue che sono state cancellate ma, come sottolinea Carrisi, non rimane in eterno, agisce per solo trenta secondi dopodiché è praticamente inutilizzabile perché anche spruzzandolo di nuovo non torna a rendere fosforescenti le macchie di sangue. Il tecnico non ha ancora spruzzato il luminol quando chiama i bravi investigatori...quindi come fa a sapere che ha scoperto qualcosa? Boh.
Fatto sta che i muri della stanza (una stanza di 20 metri quadri, come sottolinea Carrisi) sono interamente spruzzati di sangue. Όταν ξεκίνησα να διαβάσω τον υποβολέα, ήμουν έτσι κ έτσι με την όλη υπόθεση. Ήμουν σίγουρη ότι ήξερα που το πάει, ότι ήταν άλλο ένα κλασικό αστυνομικό. Ναι καλά… δεν ήξερα που έχω μπλέξει, πόσο περίπλοκη ήταν για άλλη μια φορά η ιστορία του! Σοκ, δράση, αναπάντεχα γυρίσματα της πλοκής και ενδιαφέρουσες πληροφορίες για το πώς λειτουργούν τα εγκληματικά μυαλά, πραγματικά δεν ξέρω τι άλλο θα μπορούσα να ζητήσω από ένα τέτοιο είδος. Υπέροχο.

C'est le roman qui m'a poussé à lire encore plus sur la criminologie et de la mieux comprendre !
c'est une aventure qui coupe le souffle avec chaque chapitre très captivant, trop mystérieux je l'ai adoré sans aucun doute et sa fin était choquante !!!
Garcia Le professeur de criminologie, un repère pour la police criminelle afin de l'aider à enquêter sur les affaires les plus complexes et les plus sombres , une source généreuse d'information et surtout sur les tueurs en série : ses catégories, ses différences et ses modes opératoires ..... Il était pour eux un professeur compétant, un guide convenable et un support indomptable ...
Mila Vasquéz la jeune inspectrice , l'intelligente et la charmante enquête avec son équipe sur une série des crimes bizarres et barbares à la fois, une longue poursuite, plusieurs victimes retrouvées assassinés sauvagement et avec le même mode opératoire .. un ensemble de questions se pose ?? aucune réponse ... aucune piste ... ou indice ... ou suspect potentiel !!
En tournant les page la tension s'augmente et le suspense aussi, Un fils de secret s'écoule progressivement dans les chapitre et soudainement on découvre une vérité atroce à l'admettre : le titre de ce roman c'est une catégorie des tueurs en série !!!
L’inimaginable c'est que le chuchoteur la personne qui chuchote aux autre pour commettre des crimes reste pas longtemps mystérieuse ... C'est le père de sa unique fille ...
Un roman extraordinaire je l'ai dévoré passionnément et patiemment !!! EXCELLENT !!!

BUENISIMA, de las mejores novelas de intriga/negra que he leído este año (2011) junto con la de inmoral de B. Freeman. Perfecta ambientación, te sumerges en la historia, y te pones en la piel de los protagonistas. Me gusto el final. Totalmente recomendable. Por ahora los libros de los autores italianos que he leído de esta temática me han parecido geniales (giorgio faletti).

Yes, this is my review from Amazon copy/pasted.
Just a warning, I tend to ramble, so this might be a bit discombobulated.
Alright? Alright. Leggo.
First things first. Is it terrifying? Chilling? Will it make you afraid of the dark? Should it be read only in the company of others, that you might have someone to cling to when fear overtakes you?
No. It's kinda creepy at some points. Kinda gory at some points. If you can watch any basic crime drama on TV (NCIS, Bones, CSI, etc) you can handle this book. The only thing giving this book an edge is that the victims are young girls. Children. Since it's a work of fiction, that didn't bother me. But just fyi in case that stuff freezes the blood in your veins.
As I said, I have some mixed feelings. On the one hand, I did enjoy this book. I finished it. I read at least a chapter a night - often two - almost religiously. In a few parts, I was like, "Sweet strawberry shortcake what happens next???" and I would read three or four. For the most part though, I wasn't totally on the edge of my seat, just comfortably interested. On the other hand, there were some things that bothered me, things that should have kept this book from being so successful.
First, the GOOD!
None of the characters drove me crazy, which is unusual. *party poppers* It's odd; I get along with virtually everyone in real life, but there is hardly a work of fiction that doesn't contain at least one character I want to strangle with my bare hands, feeling the life fade from their body. But I digress. More on his characters later.
His descriptive imagery was mostly on point. I like people who describe the scenes they're setting. More on his writing style later.
Story-wise, he's definitely good at keeping the pace going. There wasn't really a dull moment in the whole book. No slogging through slow-plot bogs. There were also some darn slick twists thrown in. One or two of them nearly gave me whiplash. More on his plot later.
Author also had a solid grasp of police procedure, at least to me, your average civilian who has had only the barest of contacts with the law.
Now let us move along to the BAD, which, since I am a negative and curmudgeonly person, I tend to elaborate on more.
I said you'd be seeing more about the characters. Another reviewer on here posted that the characters have the dimension of a pancake (Hahahha get it? Flat. Hehehe.) I would perhaps be a bit more generous. Maybe a very thick pancake, or a waffle, even. But yes, the characters are rather flat. Personality-wise, they aren't too impressive. Stern is religious and eats a lot of mints. Boris is the incredibly amazing super talented interrogator. Sarah Rosa is a catty little ankle-biter who hates Mila and has fat hips. Goran is your general brilliant awesome criminologist who can get into any villain's head and he also wears glasses and has piercing eyes. Mila is your most basic, vanilla main character in a book of this genre. I think she has freckles and red hair. That is pretty much all I can tell you about these characters.
The author makes an effort to blow some life into these flaccid balloons, to make them seem full and interesting, but for whatever reason, he is not up to the task. Let me elaborate.
Our main character, Mila, is not like other girls. She feels no empathy for others. It's a problem that she acknowledges and is upset about. The issue here is that this is never really explored or explained. I mean, it's root is explained, but how this lack of empathy affects her life isn't. Why would someone who lacks empathy care that they lack empathy? A lot of criminals lack empathy and they don't care. Why does Mila? Don't look at me, I sure don't know. If you went through the book and took out the occasional reminders that Mila feels no empathy (stuff like, "I looked at her tears and felt nothing."), then you would have no idea there was anything off about her. She thinks, acts, and talks like any reasonably normal person would. Why would you give your character an attribute like this, then have it be so fricking useless? I don't understand.
As far as the writing style goes, there are a few times when it ventures into the purple zone and becomes a bit too flowery and clunky. Maybe this is a result of translation. Also not a huge fan of the way important sentences were italicized, like I was too stupid to pick up on it unless it was pointed out for me.
Now the plooooooot. There are two times in the book when it is revealed that a character did something unexpected and crazy and everyone else is like, "Whaaat? Why? Why did you do the thing?" Both times the reason behind the thing is... basically nonexistant. "I had no choice." and "I loved them." It really is not explained beyond that. No. Not acceptable. Tell me why they did the thing. I'll go on about this more at the very end of my review, in spoilery detail for those of you freaks who are into that sort of thing.
There's a part where a psychic nun is brought in to help them bump the case out of its rut, and at that point I lost a lot of respect for the book. I literally can't think of the words 'psychic nun' without cracking a smile. It was some cheap way to get the characters out of a corner and gunning after the bad guy again. Introducing the nun was a bit of a surprise, and not a pleasant one.
Also, can I just say that the hook-up in the hotel room came out of left field and felt pretty inappropriate and unnecessary. I mean, it wasn't ENTIRELY out of left field... I did have the feeling that the author was going to forcefully mash these two characters together whether it worked or not, but there truly was no reason for this.
The ending wraps things up nicely, a bit too nicely perhaps, but it would have been a solid ending. Except for the last page of the book. There's a final revelation, a final twist, that is just too far-fetched and too unbelievable to swallow. At all. By no stretch of the imagination is this possible. Should have been entirely left out.
Overall, not a bad book by any means, but the amount of success it has met with stuns me. It's definitely not a fantastic book, and I don't think it's really a great book. It's just okay. Has some really good aspects and some pretty bad ones.
That is my final verdict.

ALRIGHT TIME FOR THE SPOILERY STUFF
It is revealed that Sarah Rosa's daughter has been missing and that the daughter is in fact a captive of the killer. She's being blackmailed into helping him. She'd been awful to Mila to keep Mila from making the connecting. You'd think that someone who works in law enforcement would have a little more grit, perhaps try to wiggle around and turn the tables on the bad guy instead of just going along with it. You'd think she's WANT Mila to find out, so her daughter has a better chance of being saved. Nope. Sarah wails, "I had no choice!" and is whisked out of the picture. For goodness' sake, SHE'D BEEN HELPING HIM ABDUCT SMALL CHILDREN. Like, woman. Woman I don't understand.
It is revealed that Goran murdered his wife and child when his wife left him and then returned to take his son, and his son wanted to go. The whole book, he has been merely imagining his son was alive and present. So what prompts a sane man to murder his wife and child over a sad but honestly rather commonplace occurrence? Well you see, he had been listening to these recordings of a prisoner's mad ramblings to himself. Don't remember why exactly, for some case. The prisoner had muttered about making "them" pay, repeating the word 'kill,' etc. The prisoner is in fact our killer, our Whisperer, and he had 1) known his cell would be bugged 2) known Goran would be assigned to listen to it
Um, okay.
This somehow stuck in Goran's subconscious and he killed his family, in his own words, "Because I loved them."
Um, okay.
Then he blocked out the trauma and imagined his son still lived. He jumps from a window and lands in a coma so we don't get any further answers.
How did he kill his family? Well they are described to be "blackened skeletons" that are "melted into an embrace." Sounds like they were lit on fire, but wouldn't somebody have noticed? Wouldn't it have burned the rest of the house?
And also the killer was the one who influenced Mila's kidnapper when she was a child, and this WHOLE shebang has been a way of reaching out to her. Riiiiight.

On the other hand, there were some things that bothered me, things that should have kept this book from being so successful.
First, the GOOD!
None of the characters drove me crazy, which is unusual. *party poppers* It's odd; I get along with virtually everyone in real life, but there is hardly a work of fiction that doesn't contain at least one character I want to strangle with my bare hands, feeling the life fade from their body. But I digress. More on his characters later.
His descriptive imagery was mostly on point. I like people who describe the scenes they're setting. More on his writing style later.
Story-wise, he's definitely good at keeping the pace going. There wasn't really a dull moment in the whole book. No slogging through slow-plot bogs. There were also some darn slick twists thrown in. One or two of them nearly gave me whiplash. More on his plot later.
Author also had a solid grasp of police procedure, at least to me, your average civilian who has had only the barest of contacts with the law.
Now let us move along to the BAD, which, since I am a negative and curmudgeonly person, I tend to elaborate on more.
I said you'd be seeing more about the characters. Another reviewer on here posted that the characters have the dimension of a pancake (Hahahha get it? Flat. Hehehe.) I would perhaps be a bit more generous. Maybe a very thick pancake, or a waffle, even. But yes, the characters are rather flat. Personality-wise, they aren't too impressive. Stern is religious and eats a lot of mints. Boris is the incredibly amazing super talented interrogator. Sarah Rosa is a catty little ankle-biter who hates Mila and has fat hips. Goran is your general brilliant awesome criminologist who can get into any villain's head and he also wears glasses and has piercing eyes. Mila is your most basic, vanilla main character in a book of this genre. I think she has freckles and red hair. That is pretty much all I can tell you about these characters.
The author makes an effort to blow some life into these flaccid balloons, to make them seem full and interesting, but for whatever reason, he is not up to the task. Let me elaborate.
Our main character, Mila, is not like other girls. She feels no empathy for others. It's a problem that she acknowledges and is upset about. The issue here is that this is never really explored or explained. I mean, it's root is explained, but how this lack of empathy affects her life isn't. Why would someone who lacks empathy care that they lack empathy? A lot of criminals lack empathy and they don't care. Why does Mila? Don't look at me, I sure don't know. If you went through the book and took out the occasional reminders that Mila feels no empathy (stuff like, "I looked at her tears and felt nothing."), then you would have no idea there was anything off about her. She thinks, acts, and talks like any reasonably normal person would. Why would you give your character an attribute like this, then have it be so fricking useless? I don't understand.
As far as the writing style goes, there are a few times when it ventures into the purple zone and becomes a bit too flowery and clunky. Maybe this is a result of translation. Also not a huge fan of the way important sentences were italicized, like I was too stupid to pick up on it unless it was pointed out for me.
Now the plooooooot. There are two times in the book when it is revealed that a character did something unexpected and crazy and everyone else is like, "Whaaat? Why? Why did you do the thing?" Both times the reason behind the thing is... basically nonexistant. "I had no choice." and "I loved them." It really is not explained beyond that. No. Not acceptable. Tell me why they did the thing. I'll go on about this more at the very end of my review, in spoilery detail for those of you freaks who are into that sort of thing.
There's a part where a psychic nun is brought in to help them bump the case out of its rut, and at that point I lost a lot of respect for the book. I literally can't think of the words 'psychic nun' without cracking a smile. It was some cheap way to get the characters out of a corner and gunning after the bad guy again. Introducing the nun was a bit of a surprise, and not a pleasant one.
Also, can I just say that the hook-up in the hotel room came out of left field and felt pretty inappropriate and unnecessary. I mean, it wasn't ENTIRELY out of left field... I did have the feeling that the author was going to forcefully mash these two characters together whether it worked or not, but there truly was no reason for this.
The ending wraps things up nicely, a bit too nicely perhaps, but it would have been a solid ending. Except for the last page of the book. There's a final revelation, a final twist, that is just too far-fetched and too unbelievable to swallow. At all. By no stretch of the imagination is this possible. Should have been entirely left out.
Overall, not a bad book by any means, but the amount of success it has met with stuns me. It's definitely not a fantastic book, and I don't think it's really a great book. It's just okay. Has some really good aspects and some pretty bad ones.
That is my final verdict.

ALRIGHT TIME FOR THE SPOILERY STUFF
It is revealed that Sarah Rosa's daughter has been missing and that the daughter is in fact a captive of the killer. She's being blackmailed into helping him. She'd been awful to Mila to keep Mila from making the connecting. You'd think that someone who works in law enforcement would have a little more grit, perhaps try to wiggle around and turn the tables on the bad guy instead of just going along with it. You'd think she's WANT Mila to find out, so her daughter has a better chance of being saved. Nope. Sarah wails, "I had no choice!" and is whisked out of the picture. For goodness' sake, SHE'D BEEN HELPING HIM ABDUCT SMALL CHILDREN. Like, woman. Woman I don't understand.
It is revealed that Goran murdered his wife and child when his wife left him and then returned to take his son, and his son wanted to go. The whole book, he has been merely imagining his son was alive and present. So what prompts a sane man to murder his wife and child over a sad but honestly rather commonplace occurrence? Well you see, he had been listening to these recordings of a prisoner's mad ramblings to himself. Don't remember why exactly, for some case. The prisoner had muttered about making "them" pay, repeating the word 'kill,' etc. The prisoner is in fact our killer, our Whisperer, and he had 1) known his cell would be bugged 2) known Goran would be assigned to listen to it
Um, okay.
This somehow stuck in Goran's subconscious and he killed his family, in his own words, "Because I loved them."
Um, okay.
Then he blocked out the trauma and imagined his son still lived. He jumps from a window and lands in a coma so we don't get any further answers.
How did he kill his family? Well they are described to be "blackened skeletons" that are "melted into an embrace." Sounds like they were lit on fire, but wouldn't somebody have noticed? Wouldn't it have burned the rest of the house?
And also the killer was the one who influenced Mila's kidnapper when she was a child, and this WHOLE shebang has been a way of reaching out to her. Riiiiight.

Nepopuliari nuomonė, žinau, žinau. Bet apie šitos knygos receptą greitai ir trumpai: imam bylą. Tada į tarpus dedam dar daug skirtingų bylų. Paimam vieną psichiškai palaužtą detektyvę, kuri tarsi turi truputį paranormalių galių, tada vieną labai mistišką ir neperkandamą psichą, daug pagrobtų mergaičių ir dar daugiau nupjautų jų rankų. Viską sumaišom su milijonu veikėjų, kitų bylų sprendimu, viena ateitį/praeitį/dabartį numatančia moteriške, kuri įsikiša kai byla pati nebe taip gerai vyniojasi, įmetam vieną hipnozės seansą, nes kitaip posūkis irgi būtų neįmanomas, o tada voila, galim džiaugtis, kad niekas pabaigos negalėjo nuspėt. Bet kaip negalėjo nuspėti, taip ir autorius iki jos be magijos pagalbos nueiti nesugebėjo. Čia ir bėda.
Viskas pasirodė taip šakėm ant kraujo balos rašyta, taip pritempta, taip perpildyta veiksmo, kad tik spėk suprasti, kuri čia byla prasideda, o kuri baigiasi, o kur jau byla byloje, bylceptionas toks. Daug kas stovi ant labai jau stereotipinių sprendimų, kaip kad problematiška ir paslaptinga detektyvė, aiškiai turinti bėdų ir bėdelių, o ir tas veiksmas vejantis veiksmą galiausiai taip ištampo nervus ir kantrybę, kad iš tiesų nepakenktų kažkaip atsikvėpti, o ne tik beveik 500 puslapių verstis per galvą. Ir nors autorius akivaizdžiai turi kriminologinių ir teisinių žinių, būtent jos knygoje įdomiausios, tik kad pabandyta visas sukišti į vieną stiprokai per ilgą knygą, taip galiausiai atbukinant mano bet kokį susidomėjimą. Pavargau nuo įtampos visai ne gerąja prasme. Bylos sprendimas ir ėjimas jo link atrodė pritemptas ir neįtikino. Pats blogietis – taip pat. Žodžiu, galima pasidžiaugti tikroviškais aspektais, bet aš jau mieliau stebėčiau, kaip šis autorius virtuoziškai rezga vieną bylą, nuosekliai ir remdamasis savo turimomis žiniomis, nei bando vienu metu žongliruoti milijonu smulkmenų, kad tik pabaiga nebūtų nuspėta, o skaitytojas nerastų laiko atsikvėpti.

Prekinuto i oskvrnuto djetinjstvo.

Jer nije bilo dovoljno ubiti nadu njihovim najbližima kako njihova kratka životna linija nije prekinuta, bilo je potrebno dodatno ih oskvrnuti i poigrati se njihovim odrezanim udovima.
U pitanju je neka bolesna igra.
Samo tko tu igru vodi?
Dovoljno da vam okrene želudac naopačke? Hoho, ali nismo još ni počeli.
Navedeno je samo uvod u sve ono što vas čeka ako zavirite među korice romana Šaptač, autora Donata Carrisija, kojeg sam toliko gorljivo čekao na hrvatskom jeziku, nakon što sam se iz susjedstva naslušao hvalospjeva na njegov račun i koji je predstavljan kao prava poslastica za ljubitelje kriminalističkih trilera.
Odgovor na gore navedeno gnjusno pitanje nervozno se iščekuje od iskusne istražiteljice Mile Vasquez koja je na posudbu došla u tim koji jednostavno ne zna kojim putem krenuti u potrazi za odgovorima. Tek zagrebavši površinu slučaja, odnosno onoliko koliko su joj dopustili, Mila shvaća zašto uhodani tim izgleda kao da slučaj istražuje zavezanim rukama.
Osim što mora pomoći policijskom timu koji je na rubu razapinjanja od strane medija i javnosti, dok joj pojedine ''kolege'' otežavaju svaki napravljeni korak, Mila Vasquez mora se nositi i sa svojim duhovima iz ormara, svojom tajnovitom, ali teškom prošlošću zbog čega sve proživljava na prilično poseban način.
Svaka pohvala koju sam čuo za Donata Carrisija i njegove psihološke kriminalističke trilere u mojim očima je, nakon zadnje stranice Šaptača, i više nego opravdana.
Da se razumijemo, Carrisi ima fantastičnu podlogu za pisanje žanra kojeg piše što bi, da ga uspoređujemo s drugim autorima, bila i više nego velika prednost. Carrisi je, nakon studiranja prava, pohađao i određene tečajeve iz kriminalistike i biheviorizma, zbog čega sam poprilično siguran da na svojim policama, ali i u glavi, ima dovoljno knjiga koje može pretražiti i iskoristiti ih za stvaranje uvjerljivih trilera koji će čitatelja držati na rubu živaca.
Uznemirujuća je činjenica da su inspiracija za ovaj roman i poneke njegove dijelove bili istiniti događaji. Zapravo, uz kozmetičke izmjene su ti istiniti događaji i prepričani, a odsječene dječje ruke samo su početak jednog užasnog niza.
Zanimljivo je i da Carrisi nije na bilo koji način vezao radnju ovog romana za jedan grad ili državu. Jedan od romana koji ne zahtijeva nijednu geografsku poveznicu kako bi savršeno dobro funkcionirao. Nigdje nećete pronaći ime grada, ime države, a čak i imena likova nemaju onaj prizvuk tipičan za imena koja potječu iz jedne države.
Što me dovodi do sljedećega...
Likovi, oni su ti koje još nekoliko puta želim vidjeti, želim čuti što još oni imaju ispričati. Oni nisu isključivo crni ili bijeli, oni imaju svoje svijetle i svoje mračne trenutke, i savršeno postavljenu podlogu za svaki od tih trenutaka, što je zapravo i nit vodilja ovog romana. Ideja ovog romana jest da svatko od nas ima svoju mračnu, baš kao i svijetlu stranu, a mi smo ti koji odlučujemo u kojoj će mjeri svaka biti pokazana, koju ćemo više birati u odlukama koje svakodnevno donosimo i u odnosima s drugim ljudima.
Iako lik kao što je istražiteljica Mila Vasquez za kriminalističke trilere već postaje klasičan i zalazi u domenu klišeja sa svojom problematičnom prošlošću, povremenim izmišljanjem vlastitih pravila igre i za nju iznenađujućom količinom suosjećanja, želim vidjeti kakvih još strašnih slučajeva za nju Carrisi pripremio.
Šaptač je jedan od onih trilera zbog čije magnetne privlačnosti je jako teško od njega odlijepiti oči i prste. Šokantan od prve do posljednje stranice, čini upravo ono što jedan pravi punokrvni kriminalistički triler mora napraviti; držati čitatelja na rubu, povremeno mu slediti krv u žilama događajima i detaljima, poigravati se s njime, tjerati ga na konstantno preispitivanje i nagađanje u kojem ne primjećuje kojom brzinom okreće i proždire stranice, sve do vratolomne završnice i konačnog zakucavanja i zaključivanja romana.
Za sve ljubitelje kriminalističkih trilera Šaptač je prava poslastica, nemojte si dozvoliti da propustite ovaj roman.

Koliko se zla umanjuje ako doprinosi dobrome? Koliko ljudi primjećuje dešavanja oko sebe? Koliko je ljudima bitno bilo što osim njih samih? Životna pitanja koja si svi tijekom života postavljamo i pokušavamo živjeti s njihovim iskrenim odgovorima, ovdje nas tjeraju na razmišljanje.
Žao mi je kada se tema koja zainteresira od prvih stranica uspije „ubiti“ predugim i često zamornim pripovijedanjem. Preduga knjiga ovog žanra doprinosi gubljenju osjećaja napetosti, postaje dosadna i listanje stranica prestaje biti energično. Svemu tome nisu pomogli ni nerealistični dijelovi, nezanimljivi detalji, likovi (skoro svi) s teškim traumama u životu, medij kao pomoć u istrazi, silne poveznice između sporednih i glavnih likova. Kao ni prekonekoliko obrata, gdje prvi bude i za očekivati, dok kasnije to sve prelazi u samo smiješno i nevjerojatno i sve skupa - previše.
Znajući da je pisac iz svog iskustva i stvarnih događaja stvarao ovu knjigu, a uspio ju je napraviti nerealnom, čini veliku štetu za tako dobru ideju. Kako je ovo tek prvi dio serijala o istražiteljici Mili Vasquez, mogao si je dozvoliti koji nastavak više pa tako iznjedriti kvalitetniju, realniju i dublju priču kako sporednih, tako i glavnih likova. Nadam se da će svaki idući dio biti za nijansu bolji jer vjerujem da se druženje sa zanimljivom i drugačijom Milom isplati.
Još jednom sam si potvrdila da sam više osoba za trilere nego krimiće jer kod takvih dobro ispričanih priča ne stignem disati do samog kraja knjige. Ovdje sam uspijevala brzo i kvalitetno utonuti u san.
„Mila je tugu uvijek uspoređivala sa starim ormarima kojih se želiš riješiti, ali koji na kraju ostanu na svome mjestu da bi ubrzo počeli ispuštati karakterističan miris koji ispuni prostoriju. Pa se s vremenom na to navikneš da bi na kraju i sam pripadao tom mirisu.“
„Djeca ne vide smrt. Zato što njihov život traje jedan dan, otkada se probude pa do odlaska na spavanje.“
„„Koliko košta čovjekova duša?“ – razmišljala je Mila. Jer se, u konačnici, radilo o tome. Zamislimo da jedno ljudsko biće otkrije da posjeduje zlu narav te da mu jedinu radost pričinjava ubijanje sebi sličnih. Za njega postoji ime: ubojica, ili serijski ubojica. Ali oni ostali, oni koji su oko njega i koji to ne zaustavljaju, štoviše, iz toga izvlače korist, kako njih nazvati?“

Εβλεπα ενα ογκοδεστατο βιβλιο κ ελεγα πωπω θα διαβασω ενα κλασσικο αστυνομικο 630 σελιδων που θα τραβαει την ιστορια απο μαλλια. Πιστευα πως θα εχουν εντοπισει τον δολοφονο κ θα τον κυνηγανε στις τελευταιες 100σελιδες. Δεν εγινε ομως ετσι! Ειναι ενα σκληρο βιβλιο που μιλαει για δολοφονιες μικρων κοριτσιων. Αυτο ομως που μου εξεπληξε ειναι πως δεν επικαλεστηκε το συναισθημα για να προκαλεσει πονο κ ελεος. Στο τελος καθε κεφαλαιου εμενα με το στομα ανοιχτο😲. Εκει που πιστευα πως εβρισκα την ακρη μου αναιρουσε ολα τα δεδομενα😤. Παρα τον ογκο του κ καποιες μικρες αφηγηματικες αναδρομες διαβαζεται πολυ γρηγορα. Ωστοσο, στο τελος μενεις λιγο με την απορια. Λες τι αλλο θα μπορουσε να γινει;; Μου αρεσε που ειχε στοιχεια της εγκληματολογιας. Ο συγγραφεας μελετησε καλα πρωτου ξεκινησει το γραψιμο. 4.5/ 5 λοιπον!!!

This book was incredible frustrating to read. I'm not sure if there as something lost in the translation for crucial descriptions, but as I stated in my comment to a review on Amazon.com:
"...I'll forgive the awkward dialogue, given that it's a translation. But, I'm at chapter 15, and -- possible spoiler warning? -- they're talking about how Mila is incapable of empathy and can't understand other people. Yet, in the previous chapters:
* she's outraged for one of the victims, whose schoolmates (those that had ignored her while she was alive) are ransacking her room.
* when she comes back to the school to search for another clue with the rest of the group and addresses the girls..."Mila had used that last threat....to give a small revenge to Debby, so little valued in life, but suddenly the focus of so much attention after her death just because of some ruthless rooting."
* she worries early on that she offended the one male cop because she jumped away when he touched her shoulder
* from the glances others were exchanging in yet another earlier scene, she understood some case hadn't ended well
* she understands that "Albert" is doing certain things because "he wants to demonstrate something"
ARG!!! if a character can't empathize, they can't have these interactions because they depend on empathy!

Creepy, dark, at times I felt the evil literally waft off the pages. Different characters, major twists, I honestly never saw them coming. Don't know where this novel takes place, but it doesn't seem to matter as if the author is telling the reader that the place doesn't really matter and that this type of evil exists everywhere and anywhere. Hopefully there will be a sequel.

Nếu nhận xét theo cảm tính thì tui sẽ phăng ra một nùi tính từ cảm thán, từ “Ổn!”, “Hay quá!!”, “Kỳ công!!!” cho tới “Xuất sắc!!!!”. Đó là khi tui cố tình gạt nhẹ đi vài ba lỗi logic mà chỉ cần tỉnh táo phân tích ra sẽ thấy chình ình. Đó là khi tui mềm lòng đi thấy rõ trước một cuốn sách trinh thám gói vào trong đó một vụ án rùng rợn máu me cắt xẻ cực kỳ thú vị với đủ các cung bậc cảm xúc và twist tá lả. Đó cũng là khi trườn qua hết hàng trăm nghìn chữ đã được dịch giả dịch công phu và cẩn thận với mức độ xử lý từ ngữ trên mức tốt đã khiến tui có một trải nghiệm trơn tru trôi chảy mà chẳng mắc một hột sạn nào. Thật tiếc khi phải mất tới 2 năm tui mới tụ đủ hứng thú để đọc cuốn sách này, một cuốn tiểu thuyết trinh thám mà sau khi đọc xong, tui đã xếp vào một trong những cuốn sách truyền cảm hứng và chỉn chu nhất của thể loại đầy ắp các tượng đài sừng sững và rất khó để viết này.

This is the reason I don’t do re-reads. First time I read this I loved it (assuming by the five stars I gave it), but now it was an average read for me and I had some issues with it. This review will contain spoilers.
At first I had problems getting into the story and the writing, but that could’ve been the result of noisy background. The writing turned out to be good however the plot started being a mess towards the end and it had some real questionable things happening.
Let’s start with the whole team before I go complain about individual characters. They are cardboards. Every character is given their role and besides that they are not explored more, and of course there’s the repetition of something about the character: Stern always has neat suits and menthol bonbons; Boris is friendly and a great interrogator; Sara Rosa is a bitch that doesn’t like Mila; Goran is a mastermind and know-it-all; Roche is an attention seeking boss who doesn’t have the respect of his team. And now to the spoilery bit. One of the team members being corrupted I could understand and it would be a good play, but throwing basically every team member under the bus didn’t sit right with me, albeit Boris was framed and wasn’t really guilty…but still.
Mila. Hmm, I don’t know, I wasn’t that fond of her to be honest. As someone who has high ratings for what she does best she’s treated like a newbie police officer when she joins Gavila’s team; I would assume different divisions function differently however they treat her like she never was at a crime scene (could be true) and she didn’t know any of the procedures (seems a bit unlikely since she is a police officer) and like she hadn’t had to connect dots to find missing kids. Also, since we are mentioning missing kids that are Mila’s specialty, her search for the sixth girl was thin. As someone that was brought in because of the children aspect of the case she spent most of the time doing the same work as her teammates—searching for Albert.
Her lack of empathy was interesting… only I don’t know if it was executed well, just something didn’t feel fully right but that could be because I didn’t completely understand her situation. However I’m interested to know how a person with that condition got into police, it seems like something that is needed especially since she compared her lack of empathy with a psychopath.
Her infatuation with Goran was… what? That came out of nowhere for me and it was unnecessary in my opinion. I know what it brings for the sequel, but that’s where it goes into the farfetched territory too which I will mention in the Whisperer’s part down below.
Goran. I don’t know what his team saw in him. It’s told he’s very good at his work and I don’t feel like I saw him doing his magic, he gave me an omnipresent vibe and to be honest the team acted like he was god so… There were moments where I didn’t like him being a know-it-all, where he gets to a conclusion but doesn’t tell the team because he wants them to get to the same conclusion by themselves; example: he figured out (or at least assumed) who Roland is (because I don’t see a reason why he would want to pray) but didn’t tell anyone and look at that Mila gets drugged and almost killed because she went to the killer.
The Whisperer. Is he psychic or something, because if yes I missed that part of the book. I admit his plan was pretty damn good and I’m impressed. I’m especially intrigued by the recreation of Mila’s kidnapping. However his mysterious mysteriousness is questionable, like how couldn’t they find ANYTHING for a DNA analysis; hair, saliva, human waste I get but skin, that’s… I’m really interested how he cleaned up all of his dead skin cells.
Knowing Mila will have a girl… what kind of witchcraft was that?
Oh, I almost forgot the whisperer thing by what he got the name. He was basically getting into Goran’s head through audio and convincing him to kill his family. Hm, what?

Quyển sách lôi cuốn một cách kỳ lạ.
Mọi thứ sẽ thật hoàn hảo nếu như không có khúc bẻ lái ở những đoạn cuối đến từ vị trí của tác giả. Nó đảo lộn hoàn toàn những gì mình đã kỳ vọng và đương nhiên cũng bị trừ điểm từ mình.
Về nội dung thì nếu mọi người đọc tóm tắt trên Goodreads cũng đủ hiểu rồi hen. Đó là tất cả về cuốn sách này, truy tìm thủ phạm và nguyên nhân của các cánh tay trẻ em. Mình khá bất ngờ là tác giả Donato cũng nói một tí về khía cạnh xã hội, nhưng chỉ một xíu thôi vì đây là quyển sách trinh thám. Hướng đi của tác phẩm này là hành trình truy tìm HUNG THỦ và SỰ THẬT đằng sau vụ án cho đến cuối truyện chứ sẽ không cho mọi người biết trước hung thủ gì hết.
Có thể nói Kẻ Nhắc Tuồng là một trong những quyển sách trinh thám đồ sộ nhất mà mình từng đọc qua. Đồ sộ cả về tình tiết lẫn độ dày của quyển sách. Tác giả đã làm rất tốt trong việc lôi cuốn đọc giả, kết thúc mỗi chương là mở ra một sự kiện/bước ngoặc mới, đôi khi là một cú twist, đôi khi là một bước đi đầy táo bạo. Đó là tất cả mình cần ở một quyển trinh thám (nhưng quyển này có thêm yếu tố kinh dị luôn nha mọi người)
Với tác phẩm này, mình không thể nào liên tiếp đọc nó trong một khoảng thời gian dài vì các tình tiết dồn dập đến nghẹt thở theo đúng nghĩa đen và mỗi chương lại khá dài nên tăng thêm phần nặng đô. Quyển này có 3 cú twist chính và những twist nhỏ rải đều nhưng nó không khiến mình wao lên vì xuyên suốt câu chuyện tác giả đã bóp nghẹt trái tim đọc giả rồi nên mình đón nhận nó khá nhẹ nhàng. Càng về cuối càng nặng đô nhen chứ không bị trùng xuống.
Quyển này công bằng mà nói thì khá bị "underrated." Cá thân mình luôn ngưỡng mộ các nhà viết văn trinh thám vì bản thân họ phải hiểu chuyên sâu ở một lĩnh vực nhất định. Như ở cuốn sách này thì mình được biết một vài điều hay ho về pháp y.

L’enquêtrice Milla viendra prêter main forte a l’équipe du criminologue Goran Gavilla suite à la disparition d’une sixième fillette, Mila excelle dans son domaine mais son parcours ne sera pas sans embûches à la progression de l’enquête.
Le crime en soi est interessant et a beaucoup de potentiel afin de créer une histoire captivante. Mon expérience avec ce livre fut en majorité negative, le déroulement de l’enquête est long et devient intéressant seulement vers la fin, les personnages sont très fades et certain ajout d’évènements ne font pas de sens où n’apporte rien a l’histoire ou aux personnages.
Le livre ne m’a pas fait vivre d’émotions comme je m’y attendais et je ne suis pas arrivée à ressentir quoi que ce soit pour les personnages du roman.

De sorpresa en sorpresa, cuando parece que las cosas van por aquí, zas, van por allá. Un grupo de criminalistas dando palos de ciego, alguno aciertan, para un colofón final que nadie puede prever.

Que L-I-V-R-O!!! Ainda estou. . . UAU!
Por onde começar. . . Talvez por dizer que policiais são realmente os livros que me põem a salivar por cada reviravolta e que me mantêm acordada até às 4h da manhã a ler e que quase faço birra porque realmente é tarde e tenho de me ir deitar!
Donato Carrisi é o autor deste livro fabuloso. Indescritível toda a narrativa que ele conseguiu engendrar para nos deixar a nós leitores de boca aberta a cada página que lemos e descobrimos, sim, porque, este livro é daqueles em que há descobertas quase de 3 em 3 páginas e quando pensamos que finalmente estamos a perceber alguma coisa. . . Esqueçam. Não é nada do que pensam.
Há partes em que consegui acompanhar e descobrir algumas coisas mas.... foram a minoria. O autor escreve nos agradecimentos que espera que tenha provocado emoções aos leitores. . . acho que ele foi muito modesto. O livro. . . é mesmo qualquer coisa de espectacular.
Temos desde uma médium a hipnose. . . temos um serial killer que está SEMPRE um passo à frente e digamos que todas as personagens têm os seus segredos. . . o que nos chama a atenção que TODOS temos segredos. . .

Dạo này vài khi mới đọc truyện Tây, trinh thám thì còn ít hơn. Mà vừa đọc thì vớ ngay một quyển thần sầu. Kể lại tiếc, vốn định để dành sau vì thấy sách được khen quá, cuối cùng lại vẫn không kìm được tò mò mà lôi ra thịt.
Án trong Kẻ nhắc tuồng được xây dựng theo kiểu "xương cá": một vụ chính làm xương sống, bản lề cho sự phơi bày của các xương sườn, các vụ án tưởng như ngoài lề bằng cách nào đó lại có mối liên quan. Một cuộc rộng phạm vi và quy mô của sự ghê rợn nhưng lại dễ làm thần kinh của người đọc rơi vào trạng thái hưng phấn vì việc này cũng đồng nghĩa với một lời thách thức ngạo nghễ hơn.
Thông thường một cuốn sách mác trinh thám được coi là hay, đối với tôi ngoài yếu tố logic ra thì twist cũng rất có sức nặng. Kẻ nhắc tuồng thì đúng là một bữa tiệc, twist tá lả. Khi tưởng rằng mọi chuyện đến đây là ngã ngũ thì lập tức một diễn biến mới có thể xuất hiện xô đổ mọi niềm tin trước đó, đồng thời kéo bạn sang một chiều không gian khác với khung sự kiện lặp lại như một vòng tuần hoàn, thứ trước đó vừa khiến bạn lắc đầu bất lực.
Điều này buộc tôi phải chủ động hơn trong việc tiêu hóa câu chuyện. Tôi bắt đầu tự đoán xem cú chuyển tiếp theo có thể là gì dựa vào những chi tiết lẻ tẻ được tác giả thương tình nhỏ giọt cộng với phần lớn trí tưởng tượng, rồi cuối cùng khi đoan chắc rằng giả thuyết của mình hầu như đã đúng thì nó sụp đổ. Đây đúng là tấn bi hài kịch của kẻ không giỏi suy luận, nhưng tôi cũng khá tự tin rằng có nhiều kẻ sẽ giống mình và lấy làm vui sướng :))
Tuy nhiên nghiêm túc mà nói, sự phong phú của tiếng Việt cũng là kẻ đồng lõa trong việc đẩy người đọc đi sai hướng, không biết ngôn ngữ gốc thì thế nào. Truyện kể theo ngôi thứ ba, việc chọn đại từ nhân xưng cho một nhân vật có thể đóng vai trò quyết định trong việc người đọc sẽ dành thứ cảm tình gì cho nhân vật đó. Tôi thì chân thấp chân cao bước sai tuốt luốt. :))
Đến thời điểm này, đây rõ là một trong những cuốn trinh thám phương Tây hợp ý tôi nhất. Tôi có yêu cầu nhất định trong việc khắc họa tâm lý nhân vật cho dù trinh thám thì thường có vẻ máy móc và khô chai, Kẻ nhắc tuồng kể như đã đáp ứng được.
Cuốn sách cũng đưa ra một mệnh đề, một câu hỏi chưa tìm được một biện giải đầy đủ và hợp lí: cái ác phục vụ cho cái thiện thì có đáng được nhìn nhận, được tha thứ hay không? Con người buồn cười thật, cứ thích làm khổ mình vì những vấn đề éo le phức tạp thế này :))
Nhìn chung Kẻ nhắc tuồng là một cuốn sách hay (tuyệt cú mèo). Nó tạo cho tôi một ấn tượng khá rõ rệt về sự lao động trí óc nghiêm túc và tâm huyết của Donato Carrisi. Song vẫn còn đôi chỗ có ổ gà ổ chuột:
Thứ nhất, ở vụ bắt cóc đầu tiên do Mila phụ trách, lão thầy dạy nhạc tại sao lại để mặc Mila xông vào giải cứu đứa bé và cô gái bị hắn cầm giữ suốt thời gian qua? Không chỉ không có động thái ngăn cản, hắn còn chơi một bản nhạc giúp Mila định hướng trong bóng tối đồng thời có cơ sở để đề phòng. Điều này có lẽ chỉ có thể giải thích bằng một chứng bệnh tâm thần của kẻ thủ ác, hoặc hắn đã bất lực chấp nhận cái chết được định sẵn cho mình, hoặc đột nhiên hắn thức tỉnh. Nói kiểu gì cũng thấy sống sượng.
Thứ hai, tất cả các vụ bắt cóc đang được tác giả xử lí trơn tru và rất duy vật biện chứng thì bỗng dưng tén tén tén tèn, một bà xơ xuất hiện kèm theo phương pháp ngoại cảm ảo diệu không khác gì Insidious 1 phiên bản Ý (dù rằng bà là một nhân vật đáng kính).

Nhưng sau tất cả, cũng như mọi thứ trên đời khác, có cái gì là tuyệt đối, hoàn hào đâu.
Để kết thúc cái bài phát biểu tràng giang đại hải này, tôi phải nói là nhiều khi tôi phát rồ lên vì thói cá nhân ương bướng vô kỉ luật thích hành hạ bản thân của cái cô Mila này ấy. Nhưng thôi, vì sự toẹt vời của cuốn sách này, tôi xin làm lành cùng cô.
Án trong Kẻ nhắc tuồng được xây dựng theo kiểu "xương cá": một vụ chính làm xương sống, bản lề cho sự phơi bày của các xương sườn, các vụ án tưởng như ngoài lề bằng cách nào đó lại có mối liên quan. Một cuộc rộng phạm vi và quy mô của sự ghê rợn nhưng lại dễ làm thần kinh của người đọc rơi vào trạng thái hưng phấn vì việc này cũng đồng nghĩa với một lời thách thức ngạo nghễ hơn.
Thông thường một cuốn sách mác trinh thám được coi là hay, đối với tôi ngoài yếu tố logic ra thì twist cũng rất có sức nặng. Kẻ nhắc tuồng thì đúng là một bữa tiệc, twist tá lả. Khi tưởng rằng mọi chuyện đến đây là ngã ngũ thì lập tức một diễn biến mới có thể xuất hiện xô đổ mọi niềm tin trước đó, đồng thời kéo bạn sang một chiều không gian khác với khung sự kiện lặp lại như một vòng tuần hoàn, thứ trước đó vừa khiến bạn lắc đầu bất lực.
Điều này buộc tôi phải chủ động hơn trong việc tiêu hóa câu chuyện. Tôi bắt đầu tự đoán xem cú chuyển tiếp theo có thể là gì dựa vào những chi tiết lẻ tẻ được tác giả thương tình nhỏ giọt cộng với phần lớn trí tưởng tượng, rồi cuối cùng khi đoan chắc rằng giả thuyết của mình hầu như đã đúng thì nó sụp đổ. Đây đúng là tấn bi hài kịch của kẻ không giỏi suy luận, nhưng tôi cũng khá tự tin rằng có nhiều kẻ sẽ giống mình và lấy làm vui sướng :))
Tuy nhiên nghiêm túc mà nói, sự phong phú của tiếng Việt cũng là kẻ đồng lõa trong việc đẩy người đọc đi sai hướng, không biết ngôn ngữ gốc thì thế nào. Truyện kể theo ngôi thứ ba, việc chọn đại từ nhân xưng cho một nhân vật có thể đóng vai trò quyết định trong việc người đọc sẽ dành thứ cảm tình gì cho nhân vật đó.
