What happened with the wedding photos? Camera card was stolen and she was very upset about losing the photos and she had to meet with the wedding party the next day for more photos. Seems like she ghosted her wedding clients as the narrator never mentions the wedding or the photos again. Also, why would the bad guys want her camera card with the wedding photos?

Does anyone besides me remember the Slender Man case in Waukesha, WI about 20 years ago? Three girls were in the woods, believing they had to appease a fictional man, Slender Man, one stabbed another many times.The girl survived, the “stabber” was diagnosed with schizophrenia and has been in a mental hospital. I really wonder if the author was aware of that story. Kate Marshall, please answer!
