In the first chapter, what do the authors consider to be an error? one that allows the batter/runner to reach base at all? Or are all errors included (e.g. overthrown first base, that extends an infield single to extra bases.) And why wouldn't Sac Flies included on the list of common baseball events? What about interference? Are they referring only to catcher Int that allows the batter to have 1B?

In the toolshed chapter, what do the authors consider an error? Any error at all (e.g. one that allows a single to be stretched to extra bases)? Or one that allows the runner to get to first base only? And why not include Sacrifice Fly on the list of common baseball events? Surely SF happen more often than Interference (and here I'm assuming they mean catcher interference that allows the hitter first base)
