I felt it with this one too, but rem…moreThis is another book from the list "100 Books You Should Read Before You Die." Many of those are "slow-starters". I felt it with this one too, but remembered there must be something great about it to be on that list. So I kept reading and I am very glad. Touches on family relationships, the way different people grieve, and how life goes on.

Do read it, you won't be sorry.(less)

You just have to hang …moreSome books will do that to you, especially this one. I remember reading this after A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS by Khaled Hosseini. You just have to hang in there and accept that horrific things do happen in reality and the world is not all bad. Maybe, if you are so upset about it, advocate to help end rape, sexual abuse, etc. Do not let something push you over! Get angry about it and do something!(less)
