Sadie Hartmann The fact that we're getting so much quality horror every month! It truly is a golden age of horror we're in right now
Sadie Hartmann Great question! I will often jump into a short story collection or anthology and read a few short stories just to shake loose some of the lingering details or mood from the previous novel.
Sadie Hartmann I have a great uncle, my grandma on my mom's side had a brother named, Butch. I loved spending time with him and his partner, Don. They lived in on this hillside in a beautiful house with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. He and my grandma had a falling out. I remember him telling my mom and I all this crazy stuff about my grandma and one thing he said stuck with me: He feared for his life because of her. I was so confused. My grandma? How? In any event, Uncle Butch & Don moved to Costa Rica. I never saw him again. He passed away (according to a weird phone call Don made to my mom) and then Don disappeared too. We don't really know what happened to them. :(
Sadie Hartmann Stephen King's SALEM'S LOT was the first real horror book I read. Ater finishing, I kept stealing King books from my mom's shelves.
