The 48-hour shopping event is back for 2024
It’s barely been four months since Amazon unveiled discounts during its “Spring Sale” – but it’s back for more deals this July.
This time, though, only Amazon Prime members (or anyone with a free trial), can claim price cuts on a wide variety of items including books, beauty products, luggage and top tech during the 48 hours of the Amazon Prime Day event.
So, whether you’re buying presents, a gift for yourself or just snapping up a few deals for gadgets that you’ve had your eye on for some time, this event is ideal. In this roundup, we’re gathering all of the best tech bargains we can find, especially on our favourite electrical products we’ve tested hands-on.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?
Like every annual Prime Day extravaganza each July, this event lasts for 48 hours. It starts on 16 July at 00.01 and runs until 23.59 on 17 July.
How to take part in Amazon Prime Day 2024
The only thing you need to get involved with the event is your Amazon Prime membership. You can sign up for a free trial to access the deals if you don't have one. Remember, though, that if it slips your mind to cancel you’ll automatically be moved into monthly payments, though.
