Is Amazon Prime Day a good time to buy luggage?
Yes! Amazon Prime Day is a great time to purchase new luggage, says Lexie Sachs, executive director of strategy and operations at the GH Institute. "Many of our top-tested luggage brands are available for purchase at Amazon, and we've seen them heavily discounted during Prime Day," she says. For example, Samsonite had discounts up to 60% off last year (and this year's early deals are up to 50% off).
"Since luggage is an investment, it's a great time to take advantage of the deals on items you can continue to use for years," she said. We love keeping an eye out for luggage set deals during Prime Day, so you can upgrade for the whole family for a lot less per suitcase.
What does Amazon Prime cost in 2024?
While some deals will be available to everyone, the steepest Amazon Prime Day sales are reserved for Prime subscribers. To make sure you have access to the best discounts, you can sign up for an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month, or $139 when billed annually (there are some discounts for students, seniors and other qualifying individuals).
