Fans know that Andrea Bocelli has achieved major success as a classical singer — but did you also know he can windsurf?!

In the midst of enjoying the summertime and warmer weather, the blind Italian musician shared a video on Instagram of himself windsurfing. Standing on a surfboard and wearing his signature sunglasses and a life vest, he was filmed by companions, likely his family, as he caught some waves. The truly impressive part? His ability to stay in the water for such an extended period of time while receiving cheers from his loved ones.

"Windsurfing ☀️," he simply captioned the clip posted on June 20.

When fans saw him embrace the summer weather in such an unexpected way, they quickly sent him words of high praise in the comments.

"❤️🔥 Amazing Man!!! God's Gift to all of us!" one person wrote in the comments. "You are great! Enjoy the ride with the sea and sun! 🔥🔥❤️❤️," another declared. "Wow! Is there anything he cannot do? 👏," a different follower added.

To say this is an impressive feat is an understatement. But given Andrea's many talents, it's no surprise he'd be great at windsurfing, too. After all, he has posted about engaging in other sports on Instagram in the past, including a photo of himself riding a horse on May 12, just before performing in Doha, Qatar the next day.

Andrea has been open about the challenges of being blind, a condition he has faced since childhood, and his struggle to read Braille, as reported by The Guardian. His journey to becoming one of the most famous singers in the world was the basis for his 2002 memoir, The Music of Silence, which was later adapted into a 2017 film of the same name, with Toby Sebastian portraying the singer.
