Taylor Swift has left her big red coat at home—or possibly back in Brittany Mahomes's closet.

On December 17 the newly 34-year-old pop star arrived at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the New England Patriots. Only this time, Swift opted for more of a low-key vibe than previous games by pairing a simple gray Chiefs crewneck with one of her favored plaid miniskirts and a white and red knit beanie, though she kept her signature red lipstick.

This departure from more Reputation-coded game-day looks is somewhat of a surprise, given she was joined at the game by stylist Ashley Avignone. But the New England prep aesthetic certainly made its way into Swift's wardrobe this fall.

Alana Haim, Brittany Mahomes, and Swift's father, Scott, were also in attendance—and pretty much everyone was decked out in Chiefs merch.

Meanwhile, Kelce appeared to feel Swift's presence inside the stadium. In a video captured by @NBCSCameraGuys, the tight end can be seen admiring his girlfriend's poster as he passes by.

Though Taylor Swift opted for a cozier vibe on December 17, it's unlikely she was attempting to go incognito or avoid the cameras. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift recently told Time in her Person of the Year interview. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Regarding criticism over the amount of screen time she's given at the games, Swift said, “I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
