Simone Biles Looks So in Love on Her Birthday Trip With Fiancé Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles knows how to celebrate a birthday right. The Olympic gold medalist has ushered in her 25th birthday with a well-deserved vacation to Turks and Caicos with her fiancé, NFL player Jonathan Owens.

In a series of Instagram posts, Biles shared a glimpse into her trip with a slew of bikini pics, beachside poses, and PDA-filled snapshots of her and her fiancé. The gymnast’s beach style is as bright as her smile: She's in a neon green two-piece and matching bucket hat in one post, and in a orange one-piece paired with a white bucket hat in another. 

She's making all of us—me, it's me—not on a sunny beach right now quite jealous. But it's nice to see Biles seemingly enjoying her birthday trip with her love, and I'll live vicariously through her via her multiple posts. 

Biles also clearly understands that one sign of a successful tropical vacation is the braid moment that Black women know all too well. I'm so here for her long black and blonde braids that match up with Owens's hairstyle. Who doesn’t love a subtly matching couple?  

The Houston Texans player also shared to his Instagram account photos of himself and Biles on their trip. He's all smiles in them too, proving that his IG account is basically a Simone Biles fan account. I don’t blame him! 

“Want to wish my beautiful fiancée a happy birthday,” he wrote in one caption. “What’s a better place to bring it in than paradise. Looking forward to making endless memories with you on this journey of life together, everything happens for a reason and it’s obvious we were made for each other. Here’s to your best birthday yet, and we just getting started!!!! More surprises to come. I love you more than you would ever know baby.”

Owens and Biles got engaged almost exactly a month ago after being linked since March 2020. In many of her photos, her engagement ring can be seen sparkling along with the love in the couple's eyes. It's enough to make one believe in true love again.
