Khloé Kardashian Claps Back at People Mommy-Shaming Her Over Her Nails

Mommy-shaming the members of the Kardashian/Jenner family is basically an online sport at this point: From comments about Kourtney's son Reign's hair length to whether or not it's OK for Kim to let North wear lipstick, it seems like everyone on the Internet has an (unsolicited) opinion.

This week, it's Khloé Kardashian's turn. After she posted a photo of her manicured nails on Instagram, her comments section was flooded with questions about how she cares for her daughter with them. Granted, they are extremely long—but this is a pretty standard aesthetic for Koko and really nothing new to any fan. That didn't stop the comments, however.

"How do you change diapers?!" one user asked. "The nails of a woman who pays other people to do everything for her," another said. "You are a hands on mother?" a user commented. "How many times have you poked and scratched your baby?"

Plenty of fans came to Kardashian's defense too. "It is perfectly easy to change diapers/nappies with long nails, thousands of women do it every day. I have never hurt my children with long nails," wrote one user. "Khloe has had long nails for quite some years now and it will be just as easy for her to do things with them than it is for someone with short nails." Another said, "I’m a 9-5 accountant in training and my nails same length so don’t judge someone on something as hilarious as the length of their nails."

Never one to back down from online criticism, Khloé clapped back on Twitter. "It’s annoying when people talk about my nails," she wrote. "Trust me, I manage just fine. The same way I take care of myself, I take care of my baby. There are more serious things to discuss. At least I would hope. 🙄 happy Monday to you."
