Katy Perry has weighed in on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship.

Look, there's no doubt that Perry and Swift have had their ups and downs over the years. I mean, there's a reason the 38-year-old singer is widely believed to be the inspiration behind Swift's friendship breakup anthem “Bad Blood,” but all that beef seemed to have been quashed in 2019 with a literal olive branch from Perry and a batch of “Peace at Last” cookies from Swift.

Still, there has not been too much overlap between the pair since Perry starred in Swift's 2019 music video for “You Need to Calm Down.”

“It was actually just a misunderstanding but we have such big groups of people that like to follow us, and so they kind of started turning against each other a little bit too,” Perry told Ellen DeGeneres that year. “It was really unfortunate, but we made amends and I’m all about redemption and forgiveness and for setting an example for those younger people that it can be cool to ask for forgiveness and confront someone that you may have an issue with or a problem with and talk it out.”

Now, in the year 2023, Katy Perry is keeping the vibes positive. On October 15, the American Idol judge commented on a Vogue Instagram photo of Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs player, writing, “I ship.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spotted on two football-free dates in recent days. First the pair rolled up to the Saturday Night Live after-party hand in hand in the wee hours of October 15 before spending another evening together that night.

The hands? Held. The ’fits? Folklore and Reputation coded. Who wouldn't ship Traylor?

Of course, Taylor Swift has shown love for Katy Perry's own relationship in the past, having sent a hand-embroidered “Baby Bloom” blanket to the “Roar” singer after she welcomed her first child, with fiancé Orlando Bloom, in September 2020.

“It’s like, we have so much in common,” Perry also told DeGeneres in 2019. “There’s probably only 10 people in the world that have the same things in common. I was like, ‘We should really be friends over that and share our strengths and our weaknesses and our challenges. We can help each other get through a lot.’ Because it’s not as easy as it seems sometimes.”
