Gabrielle Union is 50! The actor and Scorpio queen celebrated the milestone birthday on her actual birthday, October 29, with a video shared on her Instagram grid. In the video Union is wearing a black and gold strapless dress with a very high slit and sheer paneling that revealed a black thong.
“Walkin Into 50… Like A Champion 🏆🏆🏆,” Union captioned the video, which is set to Buju Banton's “Champion.”

Union shared a follow-up video on Instagram that included clips of her 50th-birthday celebration, which, like Tracee Ellis Ross's 50th birthday over the weekend, was not a costume party. No Kim Kardashians dressed as Mystique from X-Men were spotted at Union's bash, but there was plenty of dancing and a performance by Lisa Lisa. And, according to her caption, the whole celebration was a surprise.
“I’m still processing the level of effort and planning that went into pulling off such an unbelievable 50th birthday party in Zanzibar Tanzania and keep the details a surprise from my nosy self,” Union wrote. “I’m beyond grateful for all of my loved ones who flew around the world to celebrate with me.”
