20 JunThe School recently held an outreach day for young people, focusing on the role of economics in society. More than 350 young people from 25 schools across Scotland, including those from as far as Aberdeen and the Highlands, participated in the event.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been created between Peer Works, a programme delivered by Prosper, The Productivity Institute (The University of Manchester) and its Scotland Productivity Forum (led by the University of Glasgow). -

ACCELERATE-EEE Project Enters Final Phase
Academics, professional services colleagues, and students have recently taken part in two innovation workshops designed to boost entrepreneurship capacity across a consortium of European universities. The workshops formed part of the €1.2m EU funded ‘ACCELLERATE-EEE’ project which seeks to develop the conditions for entrepreneurship to flourish at the University of Glasgow and partner institutions.
