FC Barcelona trains for upcoming King's Cup match

Barcelona, 29 Dec (EFE).- FC Barcelona returned to action on Thursday, holding their first training session following the week-long holiday break. Pep Guardiola's squad has its first match of 2012 on January 4, the first leg of a King's Cup match against Osasuna. The club's next Liga game is on January 8 against cross-town rival Espanyol. Maxwell, Dani Alves and Leo Messi were the notable absentees from today's practice. The Brazilian Alves is due back in Spain on December 31 and Messi on January 2.
