(Original Caption) Professor Albert Einstein, world-famous mathematician and physicist, with his wife, Elsa Einstein (right), and Mrs. Theresa M. Durlach, president of the World Peaceways Organization, at the dinner held in the Hotel Roosevelt in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alfred Bernard Nobel, Swedish scientist and founder of the Nobel Prize Awards. Professor Einstein, winner of the 1921 award for physics, was the guest of honor. Other Nobel prize winners who attended were former Secretary of State Frank B. Kellogg, Sinclair Lewis, Irving Langmuir, and Jane Addams. The dinner was sponsored by the World Peaceways organization.
