BELLINGHAM, : Mark Wendover, assistant manager of Stuart's Coffee House in Bellingham, Washington, 85 miles (137kms) north of Seattle, stands next to a chess board in the establishment 24 October, 2002. A tactical team detained Muhammad and John Lee Malvo, 17, as they slept in a car at a highway rest stop in Maryland, north of Washington, early 24 October. The FBI said ballistics tests had matched the rifle found in the suspects' car to the 13 attacks, ending one of the biggest criminal manhunts of the past decade.
