Helicopter Assesses Severe Flooding in Lismore, New South Wales

An extreme flooding event on February 28 https://twitter.com/NSWSES/status/1497965754452299778 forced hundreds to evacuate their homes in the New South Wales regional town of Lismore. This footage recorded by Lismore resident Craig Rose shows the town inundated with water. Rose told Storyful he was flown to safety after the Lismore levee breached earlier that day and thanked the pilot for flying him to safety during such a "stressful traumatic situation".
