Latecomers and people without tickets crowd round the doors to watch a charity show of the new collection by French fashion designer Christian Dior, at a ballroom in Gleneagles, Perth and Kinross, Scotland, May 1955. The event is in aid of the Friends of France, which organises exchange visits for Scottish and French school children. Another Dior show was held for the same charity in Glasgow.
