Christian Dior In Scotland

French couturier Christian Dior (1905 - 1957) looking through tartan fabrics at a shop in Scotland, 1955. Dior is in Scotland to give two charity previews of his 1955 collection, with a show at the Central Hotel, Glasgow and at the Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire. The money raised will go to the Friends of France, an organisation, which organises exchange visits for Scottish and French school children.
