How Getty Images helped to elevate a worldwide Olympic partner


As one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, P&G was a worldwide partner for the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. They represent some of the most iconic brands across the globe.

P&G was looking for a way to capture the P&G Family experience at the P&G Family Home and with the “Mums” of participating athletes during the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games.

How we helped

We assigned two of our dedicated, professional Getty Images photographers and one in‑house editor to P&G for the duration of the Games (over 16 days) to capture unique content for their brands. To maximise storytelling, the images featured P&G Family Home and Interview Suites, which served as the primary location for sponsored athlete appearances, athlete/family reunions, and media events.

P&G also purchased several in‑venue images of athletes from our editorial collections at an agreed‑upon, à la carte cost.

As a result, P&G stood out from other brands during the Games in traditional media and on social media with exclusive, impactful images.
