Donald Trump is among the most controversial presidential candidates in decades. Even though the former US head of state faces dozens of charges in four separate criminal cases, polls show him leading President Joe Biden in most of the swing states that will decide the election this year, and with a persistent lead in nationwide surveys.

As president, Trump led the country through a period of economic prosperity and growth, with low interest rates, high consumer spending, and a thriving housing market. But he also oversaw the convoluted US Covid-19 response, approved controversial immigration policies, sought to overturn the results of the 2020 election that he lost, and rallied supporters who later stormed the US Capitol.

If you think he should win the 2024 presidential election, the Financial Times wants to hear from you via a short survey or you can post your thoughts in the comments below this article.
