Floating on Peñas Blancas River - Costa Rica

Typical view from a raft floating down the river. The water was mostly calm, with a series of gentle rapids, mostly Class I.

 

The goal was to see various animals, and we were able to see howler and capuchin monkeys, iguanas, and many species of birds. No caimans or crocodiles, though.
