City "Blocks"

Hadan, Busan, South Korea

 

Busan is South Korea's second largest city. East Busan in neighborhoods like this one (Hadan) are significantly less modern than the newer neighborhoods surrounding Haeundae Beach in West Busan. Dense construction built around many mountains with such rapid growth over the past two decades that there was very little city planning that included actual city blocks.
