Globemaster II (fail)

C-124 Globemaster II shot on Fuji Instax Wide film. Shot with Polaroid 900 converted to 4x5. Shot at Polaroid EV 16 = f/25 at 1/100. Film bent/damaged during film change.

Handheld, rangefinder focused.

This was an experiment to use instax wide in a 4x5 grafmatic film holder. I loaded one sheet of color and one sheet of B&W, and 4 blank septums. Here is the only shot that worked. This got jammed in the grafmatic and probably came out of the septum. The septums moved when processed but I think this film held the septum back. Regardless shot 2 was never exposed and the grafmatic jammed when closing the slide after shot 2. I used a couple of heavy paper shims to hold the top and bottom of the instax film. This works in traditional film holders, because there isn't any movement, but failed in this case.

The final picture is damaged because it bent and the chemical pod got disturbed and obstructed. BUT, there is an image...
