Elite Universities

Difference between % of the student population that come from independent schools and those that have a free school meals background. Russel Group institutions used as a proxy for elite universities. Universities are ranked based on ordering in the RAE 2008 results. RAE assess research quality instead of teaching excellence, used to decide government funding.
