Zion National Park - The Narrows Entrance

This is an image from my last trip to Zion National Park with Adrian Klein, Miles Morgan, Steve Turner, Ed Nunez, and Erasmo Acosta where we had a great time and was able to shoot and talk about good times. I have to say it is sure makes photography a lot more fun when you have fellow photographers with you. Anyways, this one is from the beginning of the Narrows which I am sure most people will recognize.

We had seen this scene before and wanted to get something different. We arrived there we shoot everything and every angle conceivable but the light was not right. This was one of those situations that patience and commitment was needed. So we decided to hand out as long as we could in case we got some light reflected off the distant walls. It took forever but we got a little light and some luck to get the scene we were really hoping to get.

Side note: I just wanted to thank everyone for sharing their thoughts and commenting on my last post. I was overwhelmed by how generous people have been with their time and insight.
