I took several strolls in 2008 and took photos of corner stones, commemorative plaques, etc. seen (mostly) on buildings within Toronto. Most of these photos were taken May, 2008 (though there are a few more recent additions) and the Toronto Year 2008 photo is of an actual dedication, the Al Purdy statue in Queen's Park. One "rule" was the year on the stones etc were contemporary or near-contemporary as far as could be determined. I have my doubts on the ones from the 1840s, though.
