October Hunter's Moon In Eclipse - 1

The Full Moon in October is referred to as the Hunter's Moon. This year the Hunter's Moon was eclipsed by the Earth's shadow. From the Eastern United States where I live the eclipse had just entered totality as the moon set in the west and the sun rose in the east. Photograph taken with a 110mm Refractor and Nikon D300 camera at prime focus. Photograph taken at Mt. Pleasant, Howard County Conservancy, Howard County Maryland. In this photo the penumbral stage of the eclipse had already started to shade the upper left section of the moon.
