Kundo Anniversary Clock

This is a mid 20th Century Kundo 400 day clock or anniversary clock. It is also known as a torsion pendulum clock because the suspended spinning weights fulfil the role of a more conventional swinging pendulum. When fully wound it should run for up to 400 days so it can be wound once a year, hence "anniversary". The entire mechanism is protected under a glass dome with only the base exposed.

This clock belonged to my grandmother and was made in Germany, probably some time in the 1950s.
