Best Large On Black

 

Tom and I took a day trip to crystal mill a couple weeks ago, was a great day, the weather was decent but not the best for photog.

 

I spent a lot of time getting this image the way I wanted, first I combined 9 exposures in enfuse, then masked in 1 exposure of the water with a 10 stop nd filter, the trees were really hard to deal with because it was rather windy, I ended up using 1 exposure for the trees where they were fairly still, the sky was rather drab and boring so I used the exposure from the nd shot to get a little bit of motion. I also played with some luminosity masks to bring out details in certain areas (like the cabin) tell me it was worth the effort...
