This image was made into a panorama of a number of handheld vertical frames, taking the panorama shots a moment before the train came into view, all merged in Photoshop, creating this panoramic view.
Wonderfully atmospheric, that’s what I kept telling myself- well at least the rain had stopped (for the moment at least). Making the incredibly scenic journey along the northern shore of the Dovey Estuary just after high tide, the passengers on board are in for a real scenic treat along the coastal line to Pwllheli.
This service was a joint Birmingham to Aberystwyth/ Pwllheli service, splitting at Machynlleth, the Aberystwyth portion visible a few moments earlier running along the far shoreline.
