Little Sun People (for 'Light In Motion')

Thinking about Light in Motion, I pulled this photo from my archives. I remember capturing this, it was taken on a warm summer afternoon, and it features three young children examining their own light, and their own shadows.

 

I'm drawn to this photo because of its representation of innocence and wonder, as well as the composition -- three shadows huddled together and whispering a universal language. These children, they are the light. The light that shines on them flutters at the top right of the image, and is reflected on the building as well.
