Light in Motion "Shapeshifting"

When thinking of the prompt Light in Motion, I immediately thought of my self-portrait series "Shapeshifting". I used a light painting technique to create these images. It often brings unexpected, distorted, and surreal changes to a subject. As a young black artist growing into myself and my autonomy, there have been so many shifts and pivots I made on this journey. I feel this image is a perfect representation of how beautiful change and imperfection can be.
