Kevin Ray Clark and Derek Healey never played with the 'Jazz Wizards'. Kevin lives and plays in New Orleans and Derek was 4 years old when his dad Jeff Healey died. The legendary musician Jeff Healey was loved and respected. Jeff died young at 41 (2008), of Sarcoma cancer. He was blind since he was just 1 year old, but was a super talented musician. He loved traditional jazz from 1920s-40s and had a long running program on radio. He had a record collection of more then 30,000 and encyclopaedic knowledge of all musicians of the era. Jeff sang, played many instruments and his 'Jazz Wizards' played in his own club and in various clubs the city. I listened to his program often, but have only seen him handful of times. It was always a great experience. This was a tribute concert and several of the original 'Jazz Wizards' were on stage. Derek is not a professional musician, as far as I know, but he inherited his talent from his dad.
