Yes, we do. And we can be thankful for what companies and countries are doing to help decrease climate change.

But what can each of us do to help?

Here is an idea that is called "One Less Thing".

Get a piece of paper and a pen. Choose one thing per month, or per week, that we will not do.

Write the thing on the paper and put the date that we decided what not to do.

This will help us to remember, and inspire us, as we can see that we are choosing to decrease climate change.

And we can tell others, and hope that they will want to join in and not do one thing.

If all goes well, the idea will spread all across the world.

Who knew that not doing could have such a big impact!

My favorite colors are pink and purple, which if you look at my favorites pages, you will see that I also love flowers.

My favorite pictures and videos to take often have some aspect of Nature going on, whether outdoors or indoors.

I love having plants and trees growing indoors with me, where I get to enjoy seeing them often, especially when they are doing something fun to photograph.

As you can tell by the photos in my photostream, I enjoy living in New Mexico, in the country. The 1/2 acre where I live gives lots of opportunities for Nature to have a good time, with the birds and other small visiting animals having great places to play, or hide, or hunt for food. And, the plants that chose to live here, in a given year, hopefully find enough moisture to be able to grow and be happy!

I love taking photographs..., and am always looking for the next opportunity, the next inspiration, the next thing to catch my attention...

Then comes the how, which in some cases, I have only a split second to decide, and hopefully push the button on my camera in time to capture that once in ever photo! I know that sounds kind of special, and I like to think of each photo opportunity, each second as it truly is, a one-time opportunity.

My Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 is my first digital camera. I began using it in June of 2006. (Prior to it, I was using film cameras.) It has, as the expression goes, seen a lot of places, and, it has done a great job of making my part, choose the subject and hold still, a lot easier since it is a point and shoot, and it figures out all the technical aspects, when I have it set on automatic, which I usually do.
