I'm in constant learning process (like most of us), trying to get more skills.

I would like to show the beauty of my homeland - located in the northern part of Hesse in Germany.

At the moment I use a Non-DSLR, a Canon Powershot SX40 HS. I like this cam, it doesn't need so much additional equipment ;-)

Update June 2011: Now I got a new cam - a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 - new features, new stuff to learn ;-)

Update Dezember 2020: Meanwhile most of my shots are done with my smartphone (Samsung S21 Ultra). But sometimes I use my actual digicams, a Canon Powershot G3X an a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G6.

Now it's your turn - any constructive critisism is welcome!

Bloggers are welcome to use any of my photographs providing they give a link back to my photostream.

Anyone else wanting to use my photographs should contact me first to discuss the terms.

I can't remember what photograph brought my attention to this remarkable photographer, or how our flickr friendship actually began. I can tell you that Rainer is wonderful contact and an absolute magician when it comes to bringing geometry into his pastoral landscapes. I've yet to find his style duplicated by anyone and invite you to see them for yourself. Trust me, you will never look at landscapes in the same way ever again.
