Retired. I have carried a camera around on hikes, at work, and travels. I don't consider myself a photographer of any merit; just look at the images others post on Flickr and you will know great photography. I am addicted to photography because it gets me out of the house and exploring places and things, from week-long backpacking trips to 15 hour day hikes. The act of photography is the reward; all my images are great while still in the camera; it is when they go to the "box of death" that they die. The computer work is my nemesis.
