I have always enjoyed photography but with the advent of digital and post-processing software, my enjoyment turned into passion! I can lose myself when taking pictures of the landscape and the nature around us always trying to capture in those images the memory of place and time. And, don't even get me started on the excitement of post-processing! Watching an image come to life with a little tweak here and there is such a satisfying accomplishment. Even if the image isn't perfect (and trust me, most of mine fall into that category), I can add a beautiful texture or special effect and turn the ho-hum into a piece of art!

I joined flickr in late 2018 and have enjoyed the community of artists that post to these pages every day. I see amazing images, I hear encouraging comments, and I learn new techniques! To me that is a win-win!
