I am an artist (art has been a part of me all my life)...a photographer (a more recent newfound love)...combining the two to create my art. These are my works. I paint, draw write and sing as well...but, most of my time... lately, has been focused on my photography and creations.
My page is composed primarily of Nature and Self-Portrait work (though, I do experiment with other captures from time to time, which you will see)I am an avid fan of Natural light and I am always finding ways to use it towards my advantage in my captures...I do a lot of SP's for which, many of them are used in my work, my art...I am, my best subject. I work a lot with various emotions, creating different moods and even faces as you will see when visiting my stream. The SP is not only a personal journey, but also a road to self-discovery and expression.
Though, I have an MA in Humanities as well as two BA's in Business and in Applied Professional Studies...my heart always brings me back to the artistic part of life...creative endeavors...=) I hope to advance towards my Doctoral studies here in the future...working on my vision in the arts...
I use Nikon cameras to shoot my VISION...
A few vintage cameras waiting to be used...
And a whole load of Polaroid cameras calling out my name to fill them up with film...
What do I like? Here are a few things:
Roses, Nature, Frogs, Snowflakes, Snow, Things that glisten, Rocks, buttons, colors, stars and hearts, paper, ink, music, all things Victorian...vintage things large and small...and very old books...oh, and Charlie Brown trees to name a few. =)
