I have been taking pictures since I was young, and for the past 11 years with a digital camera. I use photography to explore new ways of looking at things, away from the “passer-by“ mentality. Photography allows me to “freeze“ and preserve what would otherwise be lost to the passage of time and opportunity. My current equipment comprises, in addition to a zoom lens lineup, a Sony Alpha 57 which replaced my old Olympus E41/620.

Ich fotografiere seit meiner Jugend, seit rund 11 Jahren digital. Ich nutze die Fotografie, um einen "anderen Blickwinkel" weg von unserer "Alltagsbetrachtung" zu finden. Fotografie bietet mir die Möglichkeit, Augenblicke auschnittsweise einzufrieren, die mir ansonsten verborgen blieben. Zur Zeit nutze ich eine Sony alpha 57. Viele meiner Bilder stammen noch aus der Zeit, als ich mit einer Olympus E-410/620 fotografiert habe.
