Welcome to my Flickr Blog of photography. Now with more than 2,250,000 views to my site here. Here you will find samples of my work over the past several years. And the works of other photographers that I've seen here on Flickr or have known as friends over years in my galleries. I shoot on the average of 100-200 shots a week year round now with my sets of digital cameras. I've always used Canon hardware from an FTb in the 70's to my present the 80D. I like to shoot people, cars, railroading, landscapes and events most all.

I have been shooting images for over 40 years now. I was trained to become a GraphicArts Instructor in Drafting, Photography and Graphic Design. My formal training started back while I was in high school. And while I was earning my AA degree in Graphic Design at Chabot College in Hayward CA. And my BA in Industrial Arts from San Jose State University. Photography was my mirror in both cases. Through an instructor while I was at SJSU, I became friends with the late Ansel Adams. Who gave me a deep love of Black & White photography. I still enjoy going to workshops and seminars when ever possible and meeting and learning from others. I'm a firm believer that it is the eye behind the camera and not the hardware that makes a wonderful image. Overall I have deep love and passion for the art of photography.
